What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Do these Pal blades make my knife look fat? 😁
I love the fat blades that Pal used on their Cattle knives. 🤠
I like the fat blades on it too.:) The knife itself is a bit chunky though with wide back springs and plastic scales that protrude beyond the width of the bolsters. Its one I've wanted to have recovered with wood scales and maybe a bar shield added if I could find someone to do it. It is solidly built with great snap so I think it would be worth it to alter to what I'd really like.

I know, I have the exact same knife with a fat spear blade.
Just too chunky to carry around, but I still love it... reminds me of my Grandpa's knife.

Well, the throat surgery went well. The doc cut out quite a bit of scar tissue in my throat where they had given me a tracheotomy during my cancer/jaw surgery and then the scar tissue in my nose and throat from the two feeding tubes they put in. Anyway all went well as I said and I'll be on a soft food regime for a couple/three days.. To make me feel even better, I'm totin this 2008 Buck 112 on my hip today in it's Buck sheath.

Ed, glad things went well for you. Did you ask the Doc if he wanted to borrow one of your knives for the surgery? That would be a story!
