Amazing pair, John. That 99 looks great!
IRJ still looking good, Todd, and you wouldn't want to find out the hard way that it was bringing the good luck.Hanging out in the hotel, getting ready to head to the RecPlex. The relay team my daughter is on was seeded 6th, last night but finished 2nd. I’m sure it was because of the luck the IRJ was bringing so I’ll carry it again for her individual events today.View attachment 1745458
Love it! So great that you still have it! Yours is very similar to the one I had growing up, as well -- but mine also had a hook sharpener on the side.My resurrected fishing knife from when I was a kid.
Hope everyone has a blessed weekend.

Glad it went well, ED.Well, the throat surgery went well.
Glad to hear the surgery went well, ED!Well, the throat surgery went well. The doc cut out quite a bit of scar tissue in my throat where they had given me a tracheotomy during my cancer/jaw surgery and then the scar tissue in my nose and throat from the two feeding tubes they put in. Anyway all went well as I said and I'll be on a soft food regime for a couple/three days.. To make me feel even better, I'm totin this 2008 Buck 112 on my hip today in it's Buck sheath.

That's cool & special. Don't think I've seen a single like that. Looks like a liner lock too.pmek5 , I hadn't decided which one to carry today, but seeing your post helped seal the deal. Carrying this one today. It's similar to yours, but a single blade/scaler combo. Belonged to a great uncle. My grandmother told me he carried this one every day.

Great news!Well, the throat surgery went well.
Nice matching bead.Thawing out after last nights ice storm. In 2014, thanks to the Apostle P's review of this knife I immediately bought one and have been hooked (addicted) ever since.
