I’m still quite enamoured with this Ohta Swayback this morning.

Good golly miss Molly , price on the Buck 110 recently went from around $38.00 to $60.00 plus tax .

The 2017 run of GEC 78’s might have been their best ever single pattern production run. This version is my favorite among many great choices. It is hard to believe how many years can pass before patterns are produced again.

Perfect! That would certainly be a favorite of mine too but I haven't been able to locate one. Luckily I do have an ebony version and as such it ranks as my favorite. Some of the best walk and talk i've ever experienced! An incredibly well balanced knife in hand too. I hope one day we might see them again possibly with a clip point single blade like those from the 2014 run.

Nice Ohta! You inspired me to carry one of mine! I've got 4 of his in stag, with the bar shield. I have huge respect and admiration for Mr. Ohta. He really treated me right when I had a problem with a Small Camper, that I have owned for years.

They did a good job with that Whittler ! Long pull main, nice shield, and nice XX blade stamp ! Case Brothers might be proud of your blue boy ! It kinda looks like the blades could be CV, or is that just the blue sky reflecting on your blue knife ?

Mine is 3.5” handle and 2 7/8” blade.

That is one absolutely fantastic collection of Ohta’s! I have been waiting for quite a while for an Ohta that really grabbed my attention.

I know it’s off topic. But the two on the left are absolutely beautiful. Especially the shape of the handle on the second one in. Any chance you would post a photo open?
