Beautiful Coleman, that stag looks fantastic and the simple bar shield is just right.Holy Smokes!!! I got busy for a few weeks and over 100 pages have flown by!! You folks don’t take a break. Haha.
It’s probably a good thing, because ya’ll are the best enablers out there, with all the pretty slipjoint photos.
I did pick up an Ohta which has fantastic stag, IMO. Looking forward to pocketing it for a while.
Hope all is well!!

Good luck Greg, I’m sure it will look fantastic.I could've used a razor knife to cut the builder board, would've worked better, but what fun is that when ya have a pocket knife.
Emptied the dining room of its furniture to make room for storage of kitchen cabinets due to be delivered Thursday. Then cut to size and taped down floor protection.
Next Monday is the start of a complete gut/remodel of our kitchen. If I disappear from here for any length of time over the next 2- 2 1/2 months have my wife investigated.

The 2017 run of GEC 78’s might have been their best ever single pattern production run. This version is my favorite among many great choices. It is hard to believe how many years can pass before patterns are produced again.
Couldn’t agree with you more about that run of 78’s — it is one of my favorite patterns. Yours is a beaut!![]()
Thanks!Nicely done.![]()

A couple special knives in my pocket today
This Buck is one of my favorite pocket knives. I carried one in my Jeans watch pocket for years up until losing it. Great carry sir.Going up the road with Cindy to see her sister-in-law this afternoon. I'll watch NASCAR while they chat. This Buck 501 Squire will accompany me. It will come in handy to cut snacks so I can gum/chew them.
