I also have a BEAUTIFUL ancient Kauri wood but no decent pics of it. Maybe its my one and only "safe queen"

Stunning pair ya got there my friend. Bet that Kauri is a stunner as well, ya need to get us a family shot to drool over ;)

I've been carrying a friction folder made by Eric Fowler. It has bumped my Benchmade Doug Ritter with Wilkinsgrips
We shall see what happens when Michael Morris delivers one of his friction folders to my door.

All this talk about 57's has landed this one in my pocket for work tomorrow. This one went back to PA for spa soon after I bought it. Kevin...great shots! Jeff, the Coffee House Acrylic looks really deep...just an awesome piece! This one is my first Wharnie ..... takes some getting used to. Any limitations to the blade shape? I'll search the forum for answers too. Ya'll can pm me also. Don't want to highjack the thread.

Today, as in everyday at work I carry a beat to crap GI Surplus Camillus TL-29 Electrical Knife, or course in addition to my Imperial Kamp-King LOL.

Peter that snakewood of yours is a beauty. It just oozes class in my opinion

For everyday non construction use can think of little a wharnie cant do. It is a popular blade choice for good reason. I am usually a sheepfoot fan but looking forward to giving his pointy brother a real test. Can not wait to see the patina contrast against the coffee house, good times ahead for sure.

Man, that's a beefy thing! How thick is the blade?

The screwdriver end is a nice touch, too.

Hello BWPerdue,

Yes, it is quite beefy. Feels really good in the hand and came to me incredibly sharp.

It's 1095 steel (4/32" thick)
8 1/4" open
4 3/4" closed
3 1/2" long blade

Eric did a wonderful job with this knife.

I usual carry my Buck Knight folder on me. I use to carry my Vic cadet around but I threw it away. The reason was I used it to clean a disgusting hoarder house and it had this grotesque red gunk on it so I decided to throw it away.

Wait one second there!!! I thought Michael Morris' cap lifter was a good idea....How about a screwdriver/cap lifter combo!!??!!
