Thanks for the lead, Jack.He did make one John, there might be a link in the Guardians thread index
Or five years of posting to make up for.. J John L : You've got 5 years Guardians dues owing!
Thank you, my friend.Good luck today!
As fiery and beautiful as ever.
Many thanks, John! This one is supposedly "Spring Green" -- but, to my eye, it looks suspiciously like the "Antique Yellow" used on the clip blade version from that same production run. Either way -- no complaints!Wow! Gorgeous!![]()
A simple thread search will get you all John's posts, but I think there's only half a dozen of them. He said he planned to make a short run of Lambsfoot knives, but I can't remember if he ever posted any pics. Why don't you drop him a line? Thanks for the lead, Jack.
It's very cool indeed. I'd like to see him do one with a single blade and swayback handle.
He mentioned making some, I wonder if I can go searching for pictures? Gives me something to do.![]()

Looks like you’re ready to go. I’m looking forward to it. I was hoping to get to see that knife.
Haven't you two gone yet? It's nearly time to go to bed here!Looks like you’re ready to go. I’m looking forward to it. I was hoping to get to see that knife.
I’ve had this 25 in my pocket this morning. I think I’ll switch to something else when I go fishing.

Good luck, John! It's rainy and cold here today. I'm chomping at the bit to get out on the trout stream. The season opened April 1st, but I don't do rainy cold fishing anymore. I've become a fair weather fisherman!
I hate it when that happens!Ran up near Mt Rainier to have breakfast, only to find the place closed. So much for trusting their website. View attachment 1783463
