Quite often, like today, I see someone’s knife of the day, and I get indecisive about what I’ve chosen. I seriously think I could live all the time with just a Schrade Trapper and Camillus TL-29 Linesman.:thumbsup:
I got some GEC in the collection, i carry them but only use them lightly, most of them doesnt even have patina... They look great and feel great but i don't know why my brain doesn't want to make them "hard users", i don't have any trouble using some other knives that worth much more like my Fallkniven GP...
But this little TL-29 just want to be used, my other main user is a "RR2038 Work Knife", it's my first TL-29 but i think it's not gonna be the last, this knife feel solid and i'm enjoying it a lot! Maybe it's because of his history but like you said, i think i could live with that TL-29 only and be happy, the screwdriver/pry tool is awesome and useful, the double layer make this knife fits great in hand too. It's gonna be a keeper and a nice user!

I miss my BFF. Now I see they are making a Micarta version. Hmmm...
But I also got to check out Bart's Brookie in person, and it was super nice.
I like that Micarta BFF. I must resist..
That just means I might have to collect the whole series. 😁
Well.... If you eat the trout you catch, will you need to have a matching handled knife to clean them? Boggles the mind!

Nice pic! I have a hard time not carrying my EJ everyday. It's a great pattern.
I keep meaning to carry a different Slipjoint, sometimes even start the day with another but then somehow the 92 finds it's way back into my pocket.

Thanks. I’m the same way. I like variety, but when I carry something else, I miss carrying the eureka.
Ya'll are preaching to the choir here! Glad I'm not the only one inordinately fond of this (let's face it) slightly odd-looking pattern.
You're very modest! :) Glad you were able to get your van fixed :) Nice Barlow to have in your pocket
Modesty is one of the things I have not been accused of before 🤔. Thanks for the the kind words Jack! I dig your A. Wright LF as well as your anti Russian ammo! I have one in with Jeff as well, trying for a single blade 85 without spending a mint. Kinda silly that a blade delete/recover costs less than buying one built that way...
Desert Ironwood. One polished, one satin. I like the polished look personally. Need to buff out the mustang.
Nice sunrise shot of your shanks! I have been thinking the same thing about my matte 74. What grit do you take them up to?

Gray day here, but makes capturing the patina easier. Turns out strawberries seem to develop the most colorful patina of anything I've tried so far. Happy day porch people!
