Taking Cindy to the doctor later this morning then, lunch at the Wagon Wheel Cafe, a stop at the Holiday Market, and then home. I'll be carrying "Patch" (my new name for my slammed in my truck door, J-B Weld patched, Shieldless, Case CV Chestnut Sod Buster Jr.. There's snow on the ground again this morning but the roads are clearish so, it'll be a slow but steady trip to town and back.

I ordered two of these when they were released and neither had stag anywhere close as wonderful as this example. You not only found what you were looking for. you found a WOW one !

I think Patch needs a JB Weld shield.

I get this image of the fishing carnival game, where you pull up on your line to see what prize you've won. Start pulling a chain and see which knife pops up.

My Glennbad Beerlow was once a Nifebrite Crown Lifter but the mix of patina and glow in dark just didn’t sit right with me…plus I really wanted a Beerlow! I do love GITD; however, it just needs to be with stainless. These GITD Cases in stainless with Saturn shields are just what Buck Rodgers would carry…traditional but modern.

Carrying my Buck 124 Frontiersman today, as I have for the last couple weeks since I bought it It’s now replaced my 119 as my everyday knife, which is what I’ve carried for the last seven years.

Figured it qualifies as a traditional knife, since the model was first released in 1967.
