No, you have a real one! I’ve never seen one from that generation that was marked TL-29, even though a ton went to the govt. But during that time, the civilian ones had a TL-27 tang stamp, and brown delrin. And those have slightly thinner blades.Thanks for the info! I'm trying to get a "real" TL-29 but they are harder to find in good/great condition! Didn't even knew they made some in bone, gonna try one in coco too!

It is kind of an odd pattern, but I really enjoy it. I like the size and the swayback shape. The spear and coping/wharncliffe is a great blade combo also.Ya'll are preaching to the choir here! Glad I'm not the only one inordinately fond of this (let's face it) slightly odd-looking pattern.
