Jack Black Jack Black so, you're the one that bought the dvd ;) I wondered ! and yep, it just never got better, at least for me. Shaun of the Dead was pretty funny, but then, he's pretty good in a lot of movies too
G2
LOL! :D Yeah, and I only bought it by mistake, getting it confused with another film! 😖 🤣
Double lambsfoots does sound good, doesn’t it? Thanks!
Definitely! 😃
Haha, yes they tend to compliment one another (with the Lambsfoot being the best overall cutter :)); thanks a lot, Jack!!!

A Double Barlow Day is only second to a Double Lambsfoot Day (of which you're half way there:))! Quite a cool color match between your HHB and the pony, too! ;)
Many thanks JJ :)
Handsome pair Steve :)
Toting these two from GEC today. :)
Two stunners there my friend, with lots of blade options, and some great jigging  Nice :)
Thanks Jack. Stopped by GP and picked up this little beauty. Grey bone Swell Center Jack in CS. Nice F&F, helps when you can pick it out. Better pictures later. View attachment 1805592
Great catch Todd :)
Thank you Mr. Jack !
I am pretty fond of it myself and the way it is in my pictures is how it came to me. Nothing needed ! 😲
That trail you walked today looks like a beautiful walk.☺️
Thanks a lot Mr P, it's nice there, right on my doorstep, and only about a mile out of town, but we sometimes see deer there :)
Pair of aces! :)

I’ve got my go-to camp knife with me today as we hike around.

Killer stag on that one, Jack!

Carrying these to a wedding today; will switch over to something more substantial afterwards.

I’m going to assume nothing fell out onto the floor while you were dancing to The Hokey Pokey...
Really like your view!
Wow ~ my clematis are just beginning to leaf out.
How do you like the latest from GEC? Look great. It looks like they sold out fast.
I just can't get this large Case Stockman out of my pocket. I've carried it every day since I got it in mid-March. Sometimes I add something (lambsfoot is along to help out today), sometimes it's by itself. I am just hooked on this big Case.

Without driving ridiculously far, the only Case dealers around here only stock medium stockmen and little trappers. The last time I went to the Bass Pro Shop with Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket, I was really hoping to get one like yours.
Sweet knife to bond with, Jim
Sounds like a great way to spend the day, Jeff. Have fun!

It was fun, Bart. Although it shot the entire day. Left the house at 6:30 am, and got home just before 4:00 pm. The Special Olympics folks are struggling with their organizational skills after a couple of years off due to the shanghai shivers.
But, they’re volunteers, and their hearts are in the right place, so I’d never complain.
Love those Yosemite pics! Only been there once, and that was a long time ago. Like 50 years ago!

Headed to St. Louis today just to hangout, maybe hit a brewery or two. Shouldn’t need anything big, so I’m going to take this one along. 😊👍View attachment 1805346
Awesome covers, and if I remember right isn’t that your favorite shield? I hope you had a great time in and around the Lou. I’m a little jealous.
Oh, I like that one. Very nice! 🤠
Looks like a fun day at the beach.
Thanks John. The beach we go to is a hidden gem that’s never crowded. The water is real calm and now my daughter wants a kayak.
Awesome combo Mark. I came real close to picking my white owl yesterday too

Some would argue (some of those possibly probably vehemently) that one never "needs" more than a peanut (I ain't one a them) no matter what the task at hand is.
"It don't have to be big, just sharp" has practical limitations. (golly ... I'm going to be loathed by a few for saying that ... ☹️)
For example:
I don't hunt anymore, but personally, I would want something other than a peanut to field dress, peel, and get any big game critter to fit in the skillet/on the grill/in the smoker or smoke house, and into the freezer. No doubt a peanut could  do it, but there are better tools for those tasks. I think a peanut would be my  second to last choice for those tasks ... a Wharncliffe or other blade with zero belly and a pointy tip would be my last choice.
From what I've seen on You Tube, I doubt these folks that process Giant Bluefin Tuna will be trading in their knives for a peanut (or any knife I would use to process a deer or elk) any time soon. 😊
