Thanks John. I’m not a morning person and don’t eat breakfast, but I’m trying to use the griddle to its potential. Bringing it back to knives that want is what led to my fixed blade purchases. It’s been a lot of fun.Sounds like so much fun.
Great choice matching your slip to your fixed blade.
You can coo breakfast for me any time. Looks amazing!![]()

Some would argue (some of those possibly vehemently) that one never "needs" more than a peanut (I ain't one a them) no matter what the task at hand is.
"It don't have to be big, just sharp" has practical limitations. (golly ... I'm going to be loathed by a few for saying that ...)
For example:
I don't hunt anymore, but personally, I would want something other than a peanut to field dress, peel, and get any big game critter to fit in the skillet/on the grill/in the smoker or smoke house, and into the freezer. No doubt a peanut could do it, but there are better tools for those tasks. I think a peanut would be my second to last choice for those tasks ... a Wharncliffe or other blade with zero belly and a pointy tip would be my last choice.
From what I've seen on You Tube, I doubt these folks that process Giant Bluefin Tuna will be trading in their knives for a peanut (or any knife I would use to process a deer or elk) any time soon.
SUNDAY
Figure if I need anything more than a Peanut, maybe I'm doin' too much work

I’m relatively new to it, but I’m surprised how easy it is and how well it turns out.Yummy.
