Chestnut jigged bone CV Case Knife of the Week is a Peanut:

Stockman of the Week is a 3 1/8" Rough Ryder midnight swirl acrylic gentleman's sowbelly (thanks, Todd). Used it Monday to open boxes from Tractor Supply containing lawn mower blade and mower air filter, and a box from Amazon containing a pedometer (and a new inexpensive knife with anchor shield and sheepsfoot blade that I ordered to get free shipping). Really handy little knife that's often in my pocket even when it's "turn" to be carried is over.

Wow Gary, you really captured the colors in that knife with your photo, we’ll done. That’s a beautiful peanut as well. 😎👍

I often wonder if some of the people who hate it so much think it’s actually meant to depict a hotdog, like some of GEC’s other “realistic” shields (gator, beaver, guitar, etc.).
That's a good point, I hadn't thought of that... I guess I tend to give people's intelligence too much credit. 🤣
That's a big bag of tea. 😲
Have a good day, my friend.
Beautiful little Peanut, GT... the colors are great! 🤠

Old Timer trapper and a $4 Swiss Vic that has the rough texture which is red nylon I believe....it was new at an antique place out in Palm Springs and it gets little recognition but is always in my pack as backup...cheers for Tuesday gang!
We share similar tastes, Mike! Old Timers and SAKs...

Nice to see that Diamond Edge jack, Steve, and the Keen Kutter Kattle is quite the looker too.

At one point, I was looking at Craftsman Trappers on the ‘bay, but passed due to budgetary restraint. Besutiful pair, my friend!
Wait a minute; today is Tula Tuesday. Tomorrow is WASR Wednesday.
We gonna have FALFriday?

Carried two Klaas Kissing Cranes today.

Very photogenic and useful couple of pocket knives, Mr. Greg.
I like this knife and the driftwood knife stand!
When my girl puts English Breakfast tea on the shopping list, I always buy several boxes. I like to try to insulate the compound from supply chain issues you know. But 480 tea bags! That’s seriously stocking up!

Ducking the rain under the eaves. My phone weather app says 1/2” so far, and expects it to continue until noon. Very welcome in the garden, at least what’s already planted.D5B3D266-68A6-4E9B-8D56-88A935D816D9.jpegTaylor’s Eye Witness Real Lambfoot, on which the blade etch is still faintly visible, in a piece of walnut crotch wood I got at Bishop’s Gun Stock mill in Warsaw, Missouri years ago, and Vic Pickiner.CD7A17FA-AA28-49D1-9610-C8296DCA567B.jpegI know when you guys say Hump Day, you mean over the hump/half through the work week. But my neighbor’s tom turkey, chasing the hen turkey all over their backyard says every day is Hump Day!🤣

Looking good Bart, I need to start carrying mine more too. Looks like you have a nice patina beginning. 😎👍
Thanks, Todd. Cutting the tops off strawberries for the kids’ lunches got the patina going.
Thanks for the additional info about your RR Barlow, Bart.:thumbsup::cool:
I hadn't noticed, until your photos, that RR has neither shield nor bolster stamp on that model; I prefer that to the "blingy" treatment RR Barlows usually get.

Thats what I liked about it! It was a little more subdued than most.
Going to town in a bit. Pancakes and eggs, with sausage links at the Wagon Wheel Cafe. Then on to the Holiday Market for groceries and then cash from the ATM at the bank on the way home. It's gonna be a slow trip as I fell last night between the dresser drawers, the bed, and a chair. It was kinda like ricochet bingo on the way down. Sore this morning so slow and easy does it for the day. What knife to carry in this condition? Why the Ebony Scout Hunter gifted to me some time back by John JohnDF JohnDF of course.

I’m glad to hear you were able to get out and about, Ed, and that it wasn’t worse.
Added this to today's mix ...

That’s interesting. I knew Taylor was doing a lot to improve the ebony industry, but I didn’t know that had partnered with Buck.
