Between me at almost 200, my wife at 20 pounds, and my nitey nite pocket knives, we’re at least 220, and ours hasn’t broken down in twenty years.

I suppose you're right that my carrying my rosewood lambsfoot this week isn't really a choice, but what picture I use to tell everyone about the knife I'm assigned this week is completely my choice; I went with the reliable knife-on-post shot. Not only that, but since I carry my knives for a week at a time and only post a couple each day, I also get to choose the order in which to reveal them over the course of the week. Usually I just work my way down from top (Canoe and Trapper) to bottom (Alox and Lambsfoot) of the week's column in my rotation schedule, but since this is Madcap May, I made the decision to work from the bottom up this week!!

I love the way colored alox wears. Been there/done that!

I have the Black Linen version of the same knife from DLT SFO. I debated and debated between the two and can honestly admire the Natural Canvas.
The choice for me simply came down to having a couple of other knives in my collection that are Natural Canvas but few if any Black Linen.
Been a couple of years and I can't remember for sure what the problem was, but I did have to return my 501 to Buck for Warranty rework. All good now
These are the only S35VN 501 Squires that I've seen. NICE !!!
