What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hey OLD TIMER ...
3 Line: SCHRADE - N.Y. U.S.A. - 33OT
1976 - 2004
Definitely not the Chinese Stainless Taylor puts out since Schrade's end of days
(indoor lighting at night, plays little tricks with color and highlights)

Not for me Jeff. I go right at 220 pounds and anything over 200 pounds will break down a foam mattress - any foam mattress after a relatively short time - a year and a half or a bit more. No, I want an old fashioned mattress with coil springs around the perimeter of the mattress and throughout the rest of the mattress as well.
Ed I Think you should get a old school rock and roll water bed 😁 for entertainment purposes of course 1653365300100.png

Your Hartshead Barlow is a great way to start the week after your lovely trip; it certainly looks like a marvelous village! :D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks a lot JJ, I'm hoping to post some more pics in the Guardians thread later :)
Grabbed some metal and micarta for Monday. :)
Perfectly practical pair my friend :)

Hope everyone's week got off to a good start :) I'm carrying my trusty Hartshead Barlow again today, along with a Random Tuesday Antoninni Old Bear

What qualifies as traditional for this thread? That it's a two hand opener?
Welcome, and thanks for asking. The thread linked below is a good place to start, specifically post #2.

The only firm rules for this subforum are no pocket clips, and no thumbstud -or thumbhole- openers. Some of us complain that the rules are too lax, and some of us complain that the rules are too narrow. They keep us in at least broadly similar ballparks that justify the existence of the subforum.

Subject to correction by mods and complaints by others.

I should've looked for the info myself, thanks for that!

I believe this qualifies, a two hand opener Victorinox hunter pro, a lock back, can't close it single handedly, wooden scales & no pocket clip.

I mean there's nothing modern about it, that's why I bought it..

Hope I'm right.. sorry if I'm wrong..

Beautiful knife, I’d say it’s a good fit in this thread.
