What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

It's a chip butty!
I googled it :D
That sammy is likely not high on the list for a keto diet.... 🙁

Yesterday was an all GEC stag day.... today is an all Case stag day.... the half whittler and the sowbelly...

I just realized... that relatively new half whittler is 42 years old!! I've had it for little over a year or so.. o_O

My morning in three pics…with a cup of tea.

Cooper Hawks come to my porch or yard every day to hunt my lower yard and pond. He was there this morning but I took this pic a few days ago. He will fly away if he sees me, because he thinks I or my K9s are coming out on the porch. A family has made a nest and raised their young across the street in an abandoned swing set (15 years). Every year they bring their young to learn to hunt frogs at my pond. They eat a lot of small snakes, as well - caught on my long driveways. I will miss this immensely about my yard when I move - I’ve been watching this show 15 years, it never got old.

The yard work - not so much.

Enjoy the day!

It'll be a short trip to town today. Pretty sore and stiff after doing the swamp cooler yesterday. Ravioli at the Brass Rail and then we'll lay in our supply of food and snacks at the Holiday Market and the 4-Corners Grocery Store for the weekend. I'll be totin this Stag, Buck Creek Copperhead. I much prefer it's secondary, full length, drop point skinner blade than I do the stubby Pen blade of the Case Copperhead.

You must have deserved it. ;)
Almost certainly! 🤣
Hope you have a good trip to the Market, Jack. 🤠
Thanks a lot John, it was a good day :)
Elijah J. approved my carry of his ole Catt knife for the rest of the day, so I added it to my pocket:

Beautiful old Catt Mr P :)
Classic, I'm sure it didn't take much arm twisting to bring your Hartshead back into service, Jack; your pairing with the Queen trapper is fantastic! ;) 😁
Not so much my friend! :D ;) Thank you kindly good sir :)
You and your Double Lambsfoot Day should do quite well at the market, tomorrow; I think I added LBs just viewing your tasty treats! :D 😲:thumbsup:
LOL! :D I think the cake-cutting duties were well-covered today! 🤣
Toting these two wood covered lockbacks today. :)
Two beautiful beasts JJ, I love that French bolster
Thank you Mr. Jack ! ☺️
I see the Hartshead is still looking fine.
Hope you don't break a leg or worse going to pick up that ole jinx Merle ! 😲🍀🍀🍀
Thanks Mr P :) So far, so good, with the Merlester! :D ;)
Inspired by the Wharncliffe Wednesday thread I figured I'll carry this one tomorrow.

The thinking-man's Wharncliffe :)
Thank you, friends, it's good to be amongst you all - I'll try and be less scarce.

Thank you! You know what they say about "time" and all that. One day at a time. :)

Thanks, Jack. I thought that "sporran" flask might catch your eye. It was a kind gift from a friend of mine who makes them with various tartan swatches and such. He used some old Harris Tweed on this one - quite a handy little receptacle ;). I thought I'd pair it with one of your slips today.

A talented chap Dylan, it looks really good  I don't have a sporran, but I was lucky to pick up a naked NIB sporran flask, for a couple of quid, on the market, the other week :) I was hoping to post a pic, but I can't remember what knife I was carrying that day! :D Nice to see some Yorkshire tweed there too, and with an appropriate blade! :D ;)

As much as I love my GEC's, it was finally time to take the plunge. My Hiroaki Ohta arrived tonight and I can't wait for it to be in my pocket tomorrow.
Congratulations
Good Morning Porch Friends

Totin' the Charlie Lamb

And the Imperial Barlow for Thrifty Thursday.
Great pics John :)
I gotta have an answer for this one…is that a chip sandwich?

It's a chip butty!
I googled it :D
