Mmm love the big jack. Thanks for sharing.Today, I have a brace of Case....
The '83 model 6292 big Texas Jack in real jigged bone, and the '73 model 6244 in fake jigged bone.... the '73 pen knife is a single spring, and it just practically disappears in the watch pocket, yet it has big enough blades to be very useful... almost like a "crossover" between a large knife and a watch pocket knife.... it's sleek....

Just the opposite at my house... I'd be the one napping.
Very nice, glad you gave it a chance. Several of my Bokers have arrived that way but after a flush they end up with fantastic action. Ironically, my Sherman arrived with awesome action and required no flushing. The first 30 minutes with this knife were an utter disappointment. The action was HORRIBLE. It has a half stop but was so gritty it had to be pushed to full open and full closed. I considered returning it. I put some oil in the pivot and worked it open and closed for about 10 minutes. There was a lot of grit in there. Now it has a very nice walk’n talk. Snappy action with flush back spring in all 3 positions. The bolster to cover feels seamless. Very glad I gave this one a chance. I compared it in size to my GEC 15 and it’s slightly smaller. I suspect it’s in line with the size of a 14, but I don’t have a 14 for comparison. Really like the Sherman Damascus.

Score! Very pretty bird.
Fantastic knife, one of my favorite patterns.
So this happened this morning, sitting outside with my beautiful wife having a cup of coffee and watching my birds. Saw my first hummingbird on the feeder, house finches were out with their fledglings and momma bluebird was still sitting on clutch #2 ( they started hatching this afternoon) when this girl flies over the fence and to the woodpile. Clearly not from around here. I approached with a handful of seed and she jumped right up. If I can’t find the owner in next couple of weeks I guess I’ve got a parakeet. Blue 78 seemed appropriate.
