I've noticed that on a number of GEC's. They do a great job matching their woods scales, to the design and side to side.

I couldn't find the post to quote the pics, but there was a recent bocote example that was just beautifully matched. On a Halfwhitt I believe, it was stunning.

Thanks for the close up. Beautiful wood

Awesome! I believe that's the first official sighting of one in the wild! According to USPS tracking, mine should be in tomorrow :D

Mine's actually a touch greener in most lighting than in that picture-- although, who knows how it might appear across different monitors/settings?

Regardless, I love this Antique Amber-- it's got an idiosyncratic, "old" thing going on.

I hope to get more pictures soon, as the light fades.

I am carrying and using the ebony pemberton today. I didn't get a photo of it at work, but it got nasty from opening bags of asphalt patch. We were working on some areas of the driveway that were in need of repair. I washed up, then washed up my Pemberton. It earned its keep today. I will give it a nice sharpening as a reward for a job well done.

Nice combo Andi  Just been sharpening my Webermesser to take out tomorrow, with my Mauser Officers Knife riding shotgun (if I had a Cadet I'd be taking that) :)

Aha! The Charlows cometh!

:D

Love the ebony Pemberton Ed, and that Dogleg Jack is sweet Jason
