What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Wow Gary, what a nice combo!!! I had scanned past your caption and thought the very same thing when I saw the two "ebony and ivory"...

Very nice.

Paul

Thanks Paul. I like using the little "City Knife", and the Norfolk is about the most comfortable whittler I've ever handled.

I've got this Coleman stcokman on me today. I don't know much about the knife but it has Seki and Aus 6 stamped on the blade so I am not sure who made it. But fit and finish is great. The Aus 6 has been a decent steel and the blue bone is nice.

Got another Winchester Coffin Jack. I have another one thats at Queen getting tightened up. This one has no issues at all! The patina is already starting, this one helped me prepare Corned Beef and Cabbage! This one took a nice edge.

Rainy day here, but I've got my newest knife in my pocket. It's a Ken Erickson 3.5" EDC from about 2008, but appears unused. Scales are an interesting jigged chocolate micarta. Would you say the blade design is a trapper? Anyway, it's really sharp, nice and light, and snappy.

When I left the house this morning I had this Schrade 12OT in the watch pocket of my jeans.

The mail brought a delightful surprise, so for the rest of the day, along with the Old Timer I am also totin' a 1977 Case 6292 jack.

Thanks DJK :)

I thought your knife would make a great background to my very "usual" carry today ;)

Don't carry this one often because it's bigger than I need for EDC purposes, but I still drop it in the pocket every now and then.

The BG-42 steel on this blade is awesome. Might be the best I've ever experienced on a pocketknife.

Love that Keystone shield. I have a Schatt on its way with the Keystone shield, it will be my first (if the Postal Service ever brings it...... :( ).

Thanks. That pic doesn't begin to convey how nice the bone work is on that S&M. It's a real beauty.

But the #48 continues to get the most pocket time lately...

Got this with me today. Remington Jack (R111) with Rosewood handles and
fluted bolsters and fluted caps....
