What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I am about 45 minutes north of the magnificent Millau bridge.

As a geeky engineer, I just love that bridge 😍
Did you ride across it?
I rode across the Mackinac Bridge twice on a '75 Yamaha XS 650. Kind of a thrill, truth be told 😃

Your Friday pairing is astonishingly excellent with those sweet slicers; very cool graphic to go with your Big 'Un, too! 😁

I don't know that I ever had black raspberries 🤔 Sounds good View attachment 1865148
These are their cousin, wild blackberries. Or at least I think they're blackberries.

Thanks for reminding me that I have of some of last year's out defrosting (not a great summer here, and I think mine will be 3-4 weeks yet)! 😁

I commuted daily across the SF Bay Bridge rain or shine on my MC for over 20 years. You get a much different perspective on a bike than being a cage monkey. Can’t remember the number of times when the information signs on either side were flashing, “High wind warnings” on the bridge. Nothing like 70mph wind gusts to push you from one lane to the next and being helpless to prevent it. Or when traffic was stopped and I’d put my feet down and could feel the bridge deck vibrating. Crossing during the height of a winter storm was sporty too. Finally wised up and got a job that kept me in SF. 😃

Wow, you're dedicated. I didn't care for that trip in a car.
