Did you ride across it?

I commuted daily across the SF Bay Bridge rain or shine on my MC for over 20 years. You get a much different perspective on a bike than being a cage monkey. Can’t remember the number of times when the information signs on either side were flashing, “High wind warnings” on the bridge. Nothing like 70mph wind gusts to push you from one lane to the next and being helpless to prevent it. Or when traffic was stopped and I’d put my feet down and could feel the bridge deck vibrating. Crossing during the height of a winter storm was sporty too. Finally wised up and got a job that kept me in SF.As a geeky engineer, I just love that bridge

To the left of the tall pine in the center?Never went fishing, instead took a mid afternoon drive up to Mt Rainier. You can’t see it but there’s a black bear in this photo on the far mountain side…
