Thanks, Gary. Your parade looks similar to ours, but ours is only bikes and scooters. That stag EO 25 is bodacious, Bart! The Independence Day bike parade looks fun; we have one, begun in 1934, that starts just a few blocks from our house, but I haven't gone to it for several years now. When our daughter was young, she expected to go every 4th of July and come home with a big bag of candy that the minions of local politicians in the parade would toss to the adoring crowds.

That’s actually what the other side of the knife says.Well ... "Big Foot" and his kin, Sasquatch (his sister?) and Abominable (brother? cousin? nephew?) are the reigning hide n seek world champions.![]()
I may have told you this before, but when I think of what the spey blade is used for, those serrations really make me cringe.Peas are cranking it out now.View attachment 1869403
Chopped and replanted a bunch of greens. Some had bolted because of the heat that came early this year. Before I chopped them up, I picked out enough kale to fill the pressure cooker. Put in a bunch of boneless chicken thighs, a couple of bulbs of fresh picked garlic, and oh boy!
If you all don’t have an Insta Pot, you should. It’s not like dragging out the big pressure cooker I use for canning, it’s small, and really fast. Just plug it in, press a couple of buttons, and walk away. Best thing is that meat cooked in there stays juicy. A slow cooker seems to suck all the juice out, but not this little pressure cooker.
Tonight, I think I’ll try it with collards and chard and pork chops.
As for knives, I have these~ my Case Trapper with the unusual serrated spey blade, and a Camp Knife with a HIGH CARBON tang stamp, and Craftsman blade etch, which some dufus partially sanded off.View attachment 1869401View attachment 1869402

Yes. Tahiti and Moorea. It’s really beautiful. It brings back memories to me. The landscape on the picture... Are you on vacation in French Polynesia?
Dan.
Thanks, Todd. We saw a big skate park in the city that looked really fun, but we didn’t bring our skateboards (despite my son really wanting to). We did go surfing one day which was a ton of fun.Love that photo Bart, glad you guys are having a good time. Have you and your son found a place to skate?![]()
