What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That must have been great. Really nice people here. The food and the scenery aren’t too shabby either. 👍

Many things have certainly changed since i left the islands in 1972. Glad to hear it's still a nice place.

Dan.

Couple of nice ones there Gary, beautifully photographed 👍👍
Beautiful pair of Case knives, GT. 🤠
Gorgeous Chestnut Gary. 😎👍
Nice pair GT !
Thanks for the compliments, guys. :)
I'm a real fan of Case chestnut jigged bone CV series, and the Sod Buster Jr and Sowbelly I posted have additional sentimental value for me as well.

1-Blade Knife of the Week is another Case SBJr, this one with gum fuddy covers:

Scout Knife of the Week is an Imperial BSA model (thanks, Rachel):

Guess I'll add another "other"/not SAK to my carry.
1978-'82 4 pin 1095 bladed Old Timer 7OT. I haven't carried her for a while. She fits in the utlity knife pocket of my carpenter's jeans, so why not?

I dunno what's rong with me. Just spent a hour polishing the brass ... 😳
Great looking knife. Polished brass just looks better to me. Wish I could find a sealer to apply after the polishing to eliminate the need to re-polish

I’ll use this hawkbill from Kutmaster on plants, but I think this one was originally used for cutting drywall. That would explain the slightly worn tip, as gypsum board/drywall is abrasive. The other clue is that UNIVERSAL PLUMBING SUPPLY is stamped in the cocobolo rosewood. 🧐ABA2D3E7-C18C-4612-8DA6-67AC9F46138D.jpeg
I had thought of choosing something else this morning, but it feels right in my hand, so why change?DE3B9672-FEF9-413F-A89E-330E609E0266.jpeg

The coffee looks to be the right strength. Can stand a spoon upright in the cup and it does not move. Just how coffee should be
