Oh but I can Paul, would not be teasing unless I do ;) Time and weather permitting I will certainly get some pics up tomorrow, that is if I can put it down long enough to take a picture lol and thanks Paul much appreciated but direct it at Jared, he built one heck of a knife. Hope your time spent in the chair today wasnt bad brother, I never look forward to those appointments.

Sorry about the crappy phone pics, its already dark here. This thing fits my hand like a glove in either direction, to say I am pleased would be an understatement :D

Outstanding, and I know you're glad it's in hand now. Enjoy that beauty!!!

Very cool Oeser ya got there. What a unique, well-designed knife!

Here's what I found in the mail today:

gec72.png

Very smooth and easy in the walk & talk dept, locks up like butter with a nice "click" and feels great in the hand. I'm really liking the pronounced spear point that GEC uses. I've wanted a #72 for some time now, and it's everything I hoped it would be - not too big, not too small, with a blade capable of some real work.

Hey rockgolfer...that,my friend is a pretty amazing knife. Please give us your impressions after it's been in your pocket a little while....erhummmmm...don't wait too long though. Smithhammer...that 72 is really tempting...always wanted one with a clip....but your's gets me thinking. You too on impressions after it's been in your pocket.

Thanks!!

Peter

Some wonderful knives folks....really the last five or six posts of them, great to see such beauties!

It's decided to drop a load of snow overnight, so, work is closed :)

This meant I've been able to cadge a lift from ar'lass and collect my warranty repair (scissors) from Wenger at the PO. Thought it would be rude not to grab some breakfast whilst I'm here....

I think they just removed my SOSAK 2010 scales and sent them back with a new Evowood 18. Can't really complain with that. It's good to have it back today....the Douk douk doesn't quite cut it in the alpine regions of Huddersfield on days like this :D

Look at you posting on the move! :D I think I know that choice of breakfast venue :) Glad all worked out with your Wenger

Stay warm pal, it's Spring affterall! :D

With very low temperatures here, I thought my Bladeforums 2011 knife might be a good choice for easy-opening. Looking at this old pic and the knife in my hand though, makes me think I need to take some fresh pics of the developing patina :)

Got this farmer in my pocket this morning. It's kinda odd, normally, I like something with bone or wood and something..... a little old timey, but this thing has really gotten me smitten..... even with it's stainless blades. I didn't have it with me yesterday, but I missed it.
