What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My first Cherry Tomatoes of the season. I pick them just a little early so the birds don't bother them. They'll ripen up quickly though. A little fresh Basil, fresh Rosemary, garlic powder, salt, pepper and olive oil and I'll have a nice tomato salad!
Boker along for the day. Going to hit 93F they say.
Stay cool!

Beautiful knife and photos Gary. 😎👍
Spent the day visiting with my aunt and sitting by the beach.
Oh ya, and had an amazing brisket sammich, which I got to cut with my Lambsfoot.

With the glennbad glennbad modified Schrade Walden 766. I see it called a dogleg pen, and a half whittler, but according to orvet who is an administrator at AAPK, it was carried over from an older Schrade Cut Co pattern, called a Wharncliffe, even though it has no wharncliffe blade, and discontinued in 1969.
Since it’s new, and so darned cute, I’m putting it into the “watch pocket/change pocket/whatever it’s called” even though my watch is on my wrist, and I never carry change in there because I always have a couple of those little flossers in there, and they go in my mouth, and Lord knows who’s been handling that filthy money, and I used to carry guitar picks in there, but haven’t used a pick in years.
It will share duties with my redbone Peanut, Schrade 12OT which Jim, 315 315 kindly gave me to replace my lost one, and one of a couple of Camillus 41 pens which I won here in a giveaway years ago. Even if I forget to mention or photograph it, one of these handy little guys is always with me. I’m weird.

And, the mighty Wenger Handyman. I’m still hoping to gain some rub-off of the name.

Very SPOOKY ... KUTMASTER Stockman Sunday
Learn something new about this knife every time I have it out I guess
First was the very faint etch on the main blade, "PROPERTY OF U.S. GOVT"
This morning, looking at the picture of the backspring center pin ... apparently the knife is alien(?) possessed

n5jdvRl.jpg
Maybe it was issued by the government to someone at Area 51 who worked with captured aliens???

Definitely a possibility, Jim !!! :D
This inexpensive knife from the 50's-60's has endeared itself to me
If only knives could talk and all that ya know
I cleaned the specks of primer paint that was in the jigging and have just enjoyed handling and examining this Kutmaster today
