Nice trio. It sure is hard to beat those old timers for use and aesthetics. I have a 33ot myself, and I’ve got my eyes out for the 5ot when I come across the right one. I’m glad to see others that like them too. I grew up on old timers and it always takes me back to my childhood days.

Spent the day visiting with my aunt and sitting by the beach.
Oh ya, and had an amazing brisket sammich, which I got to cut with my Lambsfoot.

I’ll let you know my address and you can overnight the other half of that critter if ya need help. That’s a fine lookin sammich!

Looks like it was almost too much sammich for that lambsfoot.

I do. The Wilson I’ve had since I played in little league. I had a slip made from a real beat up Ozzie Smith Rawlings glove, but recently found another that was in good shape.

Thanks for the confirmation, Jon. :) I think it's great that you still have your mitt from Little League; my first glove, a Ted Williams model from Sears in about 1960, is long gone. I've had at least 3 ball gloves since then, but never a Rawlings.

Thanks, GT! Scout was dressed up as the character Dwight Schrute from the US version of The Office, who, among other unusual hobbies and interests, is a beet farmer.
...
Thanks for the info, Barrett, including "best practices" for securing a stapler in Jello. 🤓 Although I was never a regular watcher of The Office, I had seen/heard enough about it that I actually correctly guessed that Scout was dressed up as Dwight. But I had no idea about the beet farm connection!

lol, thanks Gary 😆 and nice pair of Yellers !
Almost GT ................ one Alox Mini-Champ, one Alox SD, and one Alox Pioneer. Nice pair of yellers you showed !:thumbsup:😊
Thanks, Steve & Rob. :) I should probably get more of the yellow Cases, since they're kind of classics.

...
Thanks Gary, those banana peppers were pretty hot! 🥵

Love that clip Gary. 😊👍
Your copper Barlow always kicks off strange associations for me, Todd, whether it's the CopperTop batteries, or copper coins, or "copper" as a reference to LEOs ("Come and get me, copper!"), or copper wire with insulation stripped off the ends, or copper kettles, or ... 🤓

You're a scholar and a gentleman in my book Gary! :)
Thanks, Jack. :) I'll have to read your book sometime; it's obviously fiction!🤓

… got bitten by the beast that shall not be named, and have been under the weather for over a week now … did ya miss me?
c’mon, you know you did …

😎
Glad to hear that you're shaking off that scourge that's plagued us for so long now.:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks Bart. I like the TK-1. I do have one of Tom's TK-11, B&T. Very similar but about an inch longer.
In general I prefer some belly on a small fixed blade. Just seems to be the right choice for me. I like a small straight edge as a secondary on a folder though. Like the little Wharncliff we have on our Eureka Jacks.
Just so happens these were set aside for today.

Gorgeous knives, as always, Gary!:cool::thumbsup:
Speaking of scourges, is your lawn mower brand somehow derived from COVID-19??? o_O:eek:

Kudos to you for going without a smartphone! I can't let go of mine. I know it's wasting my time, killing my attention span, and making me autistic, but what can you do? I had a few good years. 😁
I do BF on a desktop, though. Y'all require the big screen.
😁😁

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Splendid knife and great photo, Tim!:cool::cool:

As you may be aware, the  THEM allege: "Wearing suspenders rather than a belt, helps alleviate lower back pain."
With that in mind, I'm switching to suspenders for a week or so. (can't expect immediate results, after all.)
So, I need to adjust my carry accordingly. ☹️
...
I think I must be one of THEM, since I've been wearing suspenders instead of a belt for several years now, and my impression is that my back feels better because of it (possibly among other factors). If my wife didn't object so strenuously, I'd probably still wear a belt, tied only loosely, along with the suspenders, so that I could still use various sheaths and pouches designed to be hung on a belt. One thing that I sometimes do is wear a horizontal belt sheath in vertical position behind one of my suspender straps.

Couple of admirable knives there, Steve!:thumbsup::cool:

...
I’d say the first three days were roughest for me as well, the first nights fever dreams were no joke haha. I’m a lot better now but it sure is an energy zapper! But at least I have the energy to play with my knives again!
...
Glad you're coming out on top!:cool::thumbsup:

It’s an Imperial two blade jack——probably from the 60s. I enjoy Imperial knives and buy every one that I can that’s in good shape and at a reasonable price. I refuse to pay $25 for a knife that originally sold for a dollar and a quarter; I bought this one and a Kutmaster Barlow for $12 late this Spring.
Thanks for the info; I suspected it might be an old Imperial USA.:thumbsup::cool:
I like those Imperial knives, too. About 8 years ago my wife gave me an Imperial serpentine jack that her Dad used to carry, and that got me re-interested in pocket knives after walking around knifeless for about 45 years. I think I currently have 9 old Imperials that I enjoy immensely. Here's the one from my father-in-law:

We pick up these two does on Sunday! Put some posts in the ground letting the concrete cure. Then I will be fencing them up a nice little pen.

Carried the new Sudbuster today on my birthday. Should be trying it out tomorrow for a lil birthday celebrations.

Belated Happy Birthday, Taylor, and congrats on the little goats!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
A year ago, a nearby college campus where I often walk brought in goats for a week to control invasive species of plants in wooded areas of the campus:

That's a classy Calf Roper! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Today was my daughter Eleanor’s 6th birthday, so, of course, I was carrying her Nifebrite #71 Bull Nose again, which is sporting some flashy new paracord (per Eleanor’s request).

Belated birthday greetings to Eleanor; hard to believe she's already 6 years old!! I always enjoy your birthday posts for your kids, Barrett!:cool::thumbsup: Does Eleanor have any interest in songs that feature her name? "Eleanor Rigby" is a great song, but maybe not for a kid. When I was a college freshman in 1969, a guy down the hall in the dorm had a copy of The Turtles Greatest Hits, and I became quite a fan of The Turtles.
They have an album called The Turtles Present the Battle of the Bands, with 12 songs of different genres (pop, country, surf music, etc.) sung by 12 fictitious bands, all pictured on the inside covers of the LP (but they're really all The Turtles, of course). One of the songs is titled "Elenore"; sorry about the spelling. It was intended to be a parody of the kind of pop hits their record label wanted them to churn out, but the company released it anyway and I think it made it to #6 on the Top 40. It was actually a pretty good song, but the lyrics are hilarious. Here's the chorus:
Elenore, gee, I think you're swell
And you really do me well
You're my pride and joy, et cetera
Elenore, can I take the time
To ask you to speak your mind?
Tell me that you love me better

I can't think of another song that includes "et cetera" in the lyrics, to rhyme with "me better", no less.

...

By the way, dairies are the worst as far as being able to get away. I can’t imagine growing up on one. Beef cows are a lot more self-sufficient.
Yeah, having to do the milking every morning and night is quite a commitment! Gave me a good work ethic, though. ;)

Lambsfoot of the Week is my 2019 desert ironwood Guardians lambsfoot I named Valley Jack:

Wow I didn't make that connection, Gary! It's actually a Honda GCV190.
My knife product placement was unintentional! :D ;)
