Good pairing buddy!

Love them Catts

I get nervous when I see a tip stuck in anything like that, especially if it's my knife. 😳 A quick cat or jack rabbit might come scurrying along and jump across your stump and bump yer knife and might snap the tip off ! Bet you never thought of that ......... huh ? 😳 ;) 🤣 🤣

I love the look of the knife and the bead is a very nice touch. What kind of wood is that ?:thumbsup:😍

Cool Catts

Thank you Mr. Jack.
Cool Catts 🤣 ........... I get it. Pretty cool pair you have in your pocket today, as well.

Love them Catts

Thank you and me loves em too ! 😊😍

Great shot, Dwight. Love the knife, and the antique brass lock with snap hasp, and your use of lighting. Do you have the key?

I see I’m not the first to compliment your photo ~ trying to catch up!
We're on the selfsame page here, totally agree  Not sure SAK still make it though?

That blade is THE best thing for clamshells, tricky packets, taking cuttings, shaving points, getting under twine or string etc. And all on the single-spring. Been longing for GEC to make a White Owl 68 or 35 Churchill with this arrangement, but....

Maybe this is Vic’s new naming system ~ the number represents the number of functions. One of my recent purchases was the Vic 7, which I’ve also seen called the Pioneer/Harvester. It’s got a can opener, cap lifter/screwdriver, a wood saw, and leather punch, in addition to the main and small hawkbill like your pruner. I wanted those other blades, and don’t care if it’s fatter, but I agree with you. In the garden, the little hawkbill gets used the most.
Great bone came out of Little Valley.

Got this for 5 bucks. Was not sharpened. It just had some hard gunk on a few of the blades. Great, user.

That’s a SCORE.

Haha! You are so right Mr P. It is a dangerous move and I have broken off the tip of a couple. Mainly I am very careful in extracting the tip when finished. :) The wood is European Oak. The knife is made by Yann Nominé in Paris.
Northwoods Madison Barlow
Those are such classy barlows.

Thank you Jeff! Yessir the key in the photo (it is barely visible) actually fits the lock and works just fine. :)
