Handsome Pup. 🤠 :thumbsup:

This will be the 11th or maybe 12th day in a row with temps over 100 here in SWMO. Stays that hot until the sun goes down - well after 7:00 PM. Finally going to break on Thursday.
It's 103F right now and 23% RH. It's like living in Arizona instead of Missouri. Normally we have mid 90's and high miserable humidity. Not sure which is worse, neither is all that much fun.

This just in, a single bladed Swiss Army Knife, cleverly named "Swiss Army 1" ;) it is the same length as my Pioneer X but slimmer, about 5/16" thick so it slips into your watch pocket quite easily and is a pleasure to use being slim but having the Alox scales that provide some texture.

and compared to my Pioneer X model, the scales are the exact same length;

I highly recommend this one a lot, very nice slim small folder.

Nice 1 Gary !!! ... I've had mine for a good while. Had to look it up.
Been quite happy with it. Strong, snappy walk and talk and being all metal, is very rigid.
Gaps around the backspring are a little more predominate than I'm used to in Victorinox
And the blade was off center enough that it bothered me and I've since corrected
For the price point, it's hard to do better than the Alox Swiss Army 1 IMHO

:thumbsup:😁:thumbsup:
How do you remember the jokes you post here, Jim?
I enjoy jokes, but I can seldom remember the ones I like.

That's a cool knife, Alan! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
I've zoomed in on some of your photos, trying to read the words on the handle, and discovered they were the same words ("Modele Depose") that occur on a Douk-Douk. So I thought maybe your knife was related to Douk-Douks, but Google Translate informed me that the phrase was just French for something like "registered trademark".

Thanks for the correction. No matter whose hat, it's a nice background for a knife photo! :thumbsup:🤓

Classy covers on that pair, Steve! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Splendid stag Peanut! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Phenomenal pair, José; superb stag on the French pen knife! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Your Waynorth jigged bone lambsfoot knives are beautiful, Travman and Harry! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Those green Schrade 5OTs sure are handsome lockbacks with their drop point blades! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

I see that reflection in the pin, but you're not fooling me, Jim - that's just a reflection of you wearing your ninja hood! o_O🤓

Handsome handle! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: What species of wood is that?

😁:thumbsup: Not sure how/why my mind makes some of the connections it does (but it makes life more interesting).

Congrats on that fantastic new bonestag sowbelly! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Valley Jack and I appreciate your encouragement, Todd and John! :)

I have the solo as well great knife. I do prefer the pruner, still on the single spring & same thickness. The littlle hawkbill is a gem of a blade😊
