Everyone has to tote a Camp/Scout knife every once in a while. With all due respect to GEC, said knife must have the blade, three tools, and bail found on this old Case survivor from 1979.

Yessir! I thought I would never go for this caliber for years after it arrived on the scene. For several reasons, I took a chance and ended up very pleased.

It’s really a great caliber going slow with suppression. And I like it hot for hunting. Great choice Bloodloss.

I brought the Albers out today, the wood on this one is so incredible!

Meandering around on my bike, I used my Remi for lunch.

My SAK when I had a cup of tea and the best lardy cake slice in years.

Paid my respects at a war memorial.

Then bought an Australian version of the Army clasp knife in excellent condition which I cleaned and oiled (I like doing that stuff).

I am not sure why because I already have far to many of them,yes I shouldn't say that on this forum

Also bought 2 handles for corn on the cob which I love.

I'm carrying this little (big) beauty today. It's my only GEC in 440c. I like to use it for fruit since it doesn't impart any flavor and is nice and thin.

Pictured along with it, is a BEAUTIFUL slip made and gifted to me by my friend sbh06 . The stitching is phenomenal and the embossing is absolutely gorgeous!!! Top notch work!! He sent me a smaller slip too... But I have something special planned to pair with it, so that will have to come out another time.
