Trying to get caught up with this thread, and as a "coping strategy", I'm quoting just one post from each page. The quotes below all came from Sunday, Monday or Tuesday this week.

That looks like a vintage stockman you can depend on!
Thanks for sharing the info on the Czech Little Fish knives!...
Mikov, a Czech Republic manufacturer founded in 1794, is the maker of the Rybička (English: Little Fish) knife.
It has been produced since the first decades of the 20th century in several materials and finishes.
The knife was particularly popular during the period of socialism in Czechoslovakia. It was valued as a simple and small tool used for mushroom picking, a traditional Czech hobby.
The design of the Rybička knife apparently originates from the production of the cutlery workshop of Jan Maixner, however, it gained popularity only after Ignaz Rösler took over the company.
During the second half of the 20th century, a part of the production moved to Slovakia, under the sister company Sandrik. The knives were identical, only the tang stamp was different.
During an exhibition of knives in Prague in 2005, Rybička (Little Fish) received honorable mention as "the most famous knife of Czechoslovakia".
Glad a good time was had by all with the bowling, Jeff! Thanks, my friend!
I hope nobody was filming me and my bodily gyrations trying to coax her ball away from the gutters!

Oh, she did indeed. Her Mom and I did as well.
As long as “great outing” means having fun! If you’re looking at pins knocked down…

For some reason, I hadn't figured you as an Opinel guy, Rob, but you sure have some admirable examples!
Praiseworthy scout, Greg! Thanks for the one you sent me; it gets more than its fair share of carry in my weekly "bailed non-SAK" category.Seeing all the pics of the new GEC release gave me the urge to carry a scout today. This Boker Magnum rides in the door pocket of my truck at all times but today it's in my pocket.
I got one of these for my wife a couple years ago too. Her's is always in her purse and she finds that it comes in handy.

A knife doesn't have to be sylph-weight, even in the summer!
Thrilling trio of sowbelly stockman examples!! Such a pleasing pattern. We'll be headed to town in a bit. We haven't been to town since last Wednesday so, I'm gonna have to break out a map to refresh my memory as to how to get to the Brass Rail Cafe. Other points of interest we'll be visiting are the Post Office, the Holiday Market, the 4-Corners Market, and Ace Hardware so I can get a large, metal, rake to rake up the area where we had our tree trimmed a few weeks ago. Two eggs up, hash browns, 4-sausage links, and toast for breakfast. I'll be totin this three blade Sowbelly during this adventure.
