Case can still turn out a top notch product! This one is tight, snappy, and even has a proper pointy tip on the main blade! No blade rub either, although I always expect some to develop as I use a stockman, and this sucker will be used! I love carbon steel, but it is great to have a few stainless knives available when things get swampy. I primarily rely upon Case for my stainless knives since GEC makes so few.

Crappie71 Crappie71 , I always enjoy your photographs of Crappie. Where do you fish? My grandfather loved nothing more than catching them. Here in Acadiana, we call them Sac-a-lait. They are so revered here in Louisiana that they have been designated the official state freshwater fish!

Sounds good…unless Todd shows up
If Todd shows up, he's bringing the food and the beer. ;)
A very fine pocket knife, basic and functional. 🤠
The generosity of Jeremy doesn't stop... congrats Taylor. 🤠

Thanks! I mostly fish in the Piedmont Region of Virginia at least once a week from the first of March until November and then think about crappie fishing from November until the first of March.😂 Here’s a recent picture of some crappie; there have been a lot of them taken apart across the tailgate of this truck over the years. You might say my fat belly is the graveyard of ten thousand crappie.😂😂😂

Love your Sowbelly Stockman—--one of my favorite patterns Case makes.

Very rarely will I carry a pocket knife in a slip….. this little Buck 515 was a gift from my mother to my grandfather (her dad) back in the 80’s. He never carried it , he always said it was too nice to carry around the foundry where he worked. He was my buddy, my mentor , my friend … he passed away on my 20th birthday this isn’t the only knife I have of his but for some reason this one is the strongest reminder of him! So every now and then I will drop her into a slip and pack her to the shop , I don’t know what I would do if I ever actually had to cut something with her… probably use my keys instead! LOL! Now we all know the region and can start narrowing down to the exact location 😁. Nice catch.
