What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Sears Stockman and Camco Barlow today.

I started out with the friendly (and cheap) Buck 284. I wonder a little bit why I need anything else 🤔

Carried it while I watched these guys pull my well pump

One new pump/control box/pressure switch later we have water! Glorious water! rayof.gif
It appears that the pump was installed in 1979. 43 years! I doubt the new one will last that long. One thing I learned is that I don't want to be a pioneer 😃 A shower never felt so good 💧💦
Got done in time to make my regular Friday pool game. Took my Albers with me.

Straight again today. The 0-1 blade is going to go on Patina Service very soon and it will be a model student

Very cool knife. I love the shadow pattern, the stag, and the blade.
Have a good Friday everyone :)

Thanks, Gary
Nice knife Bart, the grass is looking nice and green. 😎👍

Nice carry Jack. 😎👍
Thanks, Todd. It’s going strong. I’ll stop irrigating in about a month and we’ll have enough feed until we move them to winter pasture at the end of October.
Great choice, my friend. 🤠
Your cows look fat and happy.
Thanks, John. We weaned the calves about a month ago so now the cows are keeping it all for themselves.
Good Morning Porch Friends and Happy Friday.
Hope many of you have fun plans for the extended weekend.

That “dirtied up” part looks super clean too 👍
Starting my day with the Case and then I’ll likely switch to the Boker after school. Taking our daughter to get some furnishings for her apartment. Have a great day everyone. 😎👍View attachment 1918284View attachment 1918285
Yep! Another finger shot! (No time to edit the photo) 🤣
That copper top keeps getting better and better👍

With an Italian friend today. A Maremmano Pianella, the pattern is virtually unchanged from it's creation in the early 1800's. You can't see it in this pic, but the olive wood handle is actually one piece, still connected at the butt end of the handle.

Can neither confirm nor deny I've been Johnny on the Spot today

Switched Internet from 20Mbps DSL over to 300Mbps CABLE ... 15X faster than before
Crawled all over the attic and done some equipment moving around

Cable modem and router are two different pieces and low and behold, the new router quit working after a couple of hours
Troubleshot everything and ended up going down to the local Spectrum store to exchange the router. All good now
Got (most) all devices in my home connected over

Not only do I have new Internet, but new email and phone number
Only thing left to do is update forty-eleven dozen accounts and sites with new contact info before I cancel the previous ISP completely

Love those traditional Sardinian knives, super elegant. Wish they were easier to find in the US!

Carrying this Joker with bubinga today. Still impressed with the thin slicey blade and with how comfortable the handle is. 40 degrees on the Sharpmaker immediately established a clean edge all the way to the tip, so it came well-ground.
