Love those traditional Sardinian knives, super elegant. Wish they were easier to find in the US!With an Italian friend today. A Maremmano Pianella, the pattern is virtually unchanged from it's creation in the early 1800's. You can't see it in this pic, but the olive wood handle is actually one piece, still connected at the butt end of the handle.
