It's Labor Day but you won't catch me doing any type of labor short of watering the lawn and flowers. Knife wise, nothing heavy duty is called for today but this fancy, dancy, Buck 301 with Black Burlap Micarta covers should do just fine for anything that comes up. Sausage and scrambled eggs for breakfast.

The mallet is about 30 years old and has seen its fair share of abuse.
