The green handles on that are great, John.
Great old KK and TEW, Steve!
Seems like you’re showing a new LF every day!🤙

Thanks, my friend. The food was well received. This is mostly an older group of guys, and I am slightly amused and slightly amazed how this generation of men (Boomers) got to that age without learning how to cook. What happens in the kitchen is some mysterious kind of black magic and sorcery to these folks, and you can tell that a lot of them are accustomed to being waited on 🙄. Obviously, their wives have sheltered and insulated them from the real world.
There was one old guy, though, Ken, who was a USN vet. THAT guy knew his way around a kitchen, and always pitched right in and helped. RIP, Ken.

The same two usual suspects pitched in and ran several loads through the Hobart dishwasher for me, God love ‘em…😁

Two Schrades for me. The Barlow was a very kind gift from @Old Engineer this past spring. It’s my one and only Schrade Cut Co knife, so I guess it’s my oldest Schrade.
And the serpentine jack…
I often say this to myself, and then back off from it, but this time it may be true. I think I’ll just keep totin these two for a while.

I have my Victorinox Alox 7 Harvester in my left hand pocket also, in case stainless is more appropriate.View attachment 1920524 No matter what might be in my right hand pocket, there’s always a Swiss Army Knife in my left pocket, and a Leatherman on my belt.

No, I am not a member of any garden club. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. I just liked the slogan on the back, so I swiped it from the kitchen of the church we used to go to where they had dozens of coffee cups that nobody wanted and gave to the church.
I think it was a leftover from a rummage sale.😜
Like any coffee mug worth keeping, it’s got an unglazed rim on the bottom, which is about as effective a knife sharpener as anything at any price. And it’s perfect for a hawkbill that you cannot sharpen on a flat stone.View attachment 1920534
Have a fine day my friends!
Awesome barlow, Jeff
Nice TC, Bart!:cool::cool: What kind of machinery is it sitting on?

- GT
Thanks , Gary. It’s an old rusted plow of some sort. It sits along the driveway of one of the ranches and makes a good picture spot.
That's Forward Thinking. 🤠
Turns out we were ready for the heat wave.
Got to be the coolest backyard in town! Looks great Bart. 😎👍
Thanks, Todd.

Once it got too hot to skate I headed to work with this one, in anticipation of grilling and drinking a couple beers tonight.

I approve 100% ... Great movie. 🤠
I like the way River is stretched out along the knife and crossing blades with your Lambsfoot.
Thanks again John, maybe I can recycle it in the Guardians thread sometime! :D ;)
You are certainly styling with your elegant stag Lambsfoot and the very attractive GEC fixed blade; hope you had a great Sunday! :)👍👍
Many thanks JJ :)
I pocketed these two slicers from Sheffield for Sunday. :)
I think those two go together beautifully my friend :) Striking Christopher Johnson Barlow, and who doesn't love a Lambsfoot? ;)
Bon appetit John! :)
Congratulations! :)

Wishing everyone in the US and Canada Happy Labor Day - And Happy Monday to everyone else! :D ;)
