I think my favorite there was a few years back when we watched a couple a really big turkey toms have a kickboxing match about ten feet off the trail. There were a couple of smaller toms watching, too. After a while we kept walking and right around the corner was a big group of jennys (so at least we knew what the big boys were fighting over).Always a fun place to visit. The deer viewing there is great.
Love that one
Thanks JohnBeautiful Lambsfoot, Jack.![]()

Cool pairing Steve
That's sweet IskI’ve had trouble exactly dating this knife but the color of the ivory and the three implements say 1870’s to the prewar period. It was given to me by my then girlfriends grandfather (RIP) at his home in France.

That really is an incredible knife DanThank you Greg !
The Puukko was gifted to me by @RayseM
He made the handle himself with birch bark and stag gathered in the woods around his place and he also made the leather sheath![]()
Additional cool touches are engravings on the knife and sheath as well as a bronze shackle that is part of the sheath evoking boating and sailing
A VERY special knife

I'm with you on the jigged chestnut, Todd, but I've never had a Case with synthetic ebony covers. I think my second choice might be yellow delrin. It sure is Gary. Synthetic Ebony and jigged Chestnut are probably my favorite covers from Case.![]()

How's this?![]()
Your summaries are much more concise than mine, Jeff! All the people took pictures of what they said they were carrying each day. Me too. Some of these guys have real nice ones.
The end.
They sure sell plenty of those '18 stockman knives, so the "design flaw" that's a pet peeve of mine must not bother very many people!Good question Gary. I have no idea. I know that some folks file the kick to help with that. I may give that a try myself.![]()
Thanks palPair of aces, Jack!
Sorry to hear about blade play on your RR scout.I can tolerate a lot of "imperfections" in a knife, but blade play is detestable to me.
