What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you Todd :)

Thanks a lot buddy :)

I like those two Gary, those Sodbusters are great users

Many thanks JJ, that's one of the many things I love about the Lambsfoot :)

Those two pair well together my friend, both good-looking and practical  :)

Cool pic Pete, nice Ingram :D I used to have a similar teenage AK pic, but lost it years ago unfortunately :( I might see if one of my old buddies has a copy

Not yet, thankfully, Gary! :D Thank you my friend :)

I know the feeling Gary! Many thanks for the compliment :)

Nice choices John

Great-looking pair Steve

Cool pic Dan

Striking combination Joshua  I have never seen pencil with that flattened brass section near the eraser, they do them kind of differently here. They look very practical

Superb JJ, those two look they just came from the hardware store  :)

Hope everyone has had a good week :) I'm carrying a large Bagpipe Ebony Lambsfoot SFO today, and an OLd Friend :)

The pencils here are usually barrel shaped, but these are Blackwings, which have always, to my knowledge, used the flattened eraser, which prevents it from rolling.

Decided on my Northwoods and the Ettrick for Friday. 😊 Hope everyone has a nice weekend.
I got back on the lake Wednesday morning, before the cold front came. I managed these 15" and 13" spotted bass (and one more baby spot) before the bite was off. While I normally throw my bass back to practice conservation, I thought that a good fresh fish dinner sounded good. I wasn't wrong, as it did hit the spot, later in the evening. I grilled them with some peppers and onions that I had on hand.

Single spring, probably 1940s, all steel furniture. I really like carrying this knife; I even take it out of me pocket and admire it. Very slicy, a bit tired.View attachment 1938279View attachment 1938280View attachment 1938281
Quite nice! Love the bone’s color.
A bit tired is not a disqualifier to me. Wherher talking knives or their owners.

Coupla stunners, there, Jim!
Until around 2010 every knife I owned was a carry knife. They all got used. No wall flowers and they are hunters, filet, and folders. Only had U.S. made. My on hunter is an old Remington made in the gun factory before WWII. Each has stories and a lot of tender care as payback for their hard work.
Yeah, I have no knives that are too nice to use. Doesn’t mean I don’t like to see them when folks post them here.

Cool morning. Cool enough that Mrs Fleschwund came downstairs and turned on the furnace. 🙄
But chilly weather makes me think about simmering a big soup bone for a few days, and tossing in some of these beans.
