What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Had to carry the 2015 BF knife in 440c, Bocote. Sadly it may have been the last project for Canal St Cutlery. It must have been a real emotional rollercoaster for Eric after the Eric's Jack in 2014 and then this. So happy he has attained the hard earned success he deserves.

Thank you very much, Jack!!! :)

Your wonderful Lexan Lambsfoot looks super cool with your newly acquired tools; I take it you had a fun day at the market!😃👍👍
Thank you very much my friend, none of the tools on my pal's stall particularly caught my eyes yesterday, (some nice old BSA spanners, but I have no use for them these days), so I just took a pic on the stall ;) :D
I'm toting these two Case Barlows made several generations apart. :)
Fabulous pair of Case Barlows JJ  :)

Well said :)

Both of these knives were gifts from Charlie waynorth waynorth , a lovely old William Rodgers Lambsfoot, and a bold black Black Jack! :D

Congrats on that fine old knife!:thumbsup::cool:

Richartz & Okapi... Ha! Those two names are on my shelf too. Although my Richartz is of Swiss Army style, and my Okapi was made in Germany. Yours are very nice, and I really like the math tables. Maybe I'll break out the Richartz and actually carry it some day.
Thanks. :)
My knife motto is "Tote 'em if you've got 'em!" 🤓

Good point Gary, we all learned a thing or two during COVID. 👍
Not necessarily things I WANTED to learn!

I always enjoy seeing the Opignel, GT! 😁

Nice sketch! Here’s one I did a while back.

I had my @Sacto modified Bull Nose with me the last couple days.

Thanks, Barrett. :)
Nice sketch of your 23!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
That Bull Nose blade mod is cool!:cool::thumbsup: It was originally a drop point, right? Any particular reason you wanted to switch to the blade you now have? It looks like some kind of spear/spey combo.

Ed’s always at the hub of things, Gary. It’s how he rolls.

I think I know exactly how I did that with @Primble’s quote…
Using my “back space” button trying ti clean up your novella to leave only the parts addressed to me! 😬 If I hold it down too long, it goes into hyper drive, and erases entire lines faster’n Jed Clampett could say Boy Howdy.

I’m not very good with this high tech stuff…
Good descriptions of ED that fit with your previous wheel photo! 😁
Your explanation about Primble's quote makes sense to me. I often has that "hyper drive" experience, but didn't know what to call it!:cool::thumbsup:

Thank you GT.

A lot of leaf color now and the local news was expecting the peak to be next weekend, which is nearly a month earlier than last year. It has been really dry and cool around here lately.

Regarding the current forum dilemma, regarding what is being called a Barlow, I share your and Mr. Jack’s anxiety. They can call it a Barlow, but, that don’t make it a Barlow……………… and that includes Boker’s marketing !
Sometimes students in my math classes think that what the "technical terms" really mean doesn't matter, and they just use whatever term strikes their fancy. But at least some of them get my point when I come into class and start calling everybody the wrong name until someone tells me I'm an idiot. 🤓

Thank you for your kind words, Gary; your metal mathematical marvel is mind bendingly cool! 😁
Thanks, JJ. :)
As age continues to bend my mind, I'll probably eventually need to make that knife an EDC to help me with basic (and forgotten) facts of multiplication. o_O

I enjoy the Lambsfoot pattern so much I decided to pocket these two for a second day. :)
That pair is certainly worthy of carry on multiple consecutive days!:cool::cool:

...

Thanks Gary, I would have expected better from Boker :(

Yes, I think you're right my friend :) Mine is the smaller model

Both sizes of that Joker olive wood model are very desirable.
Wonderful shot of that supremely desirable jigged bone WCLF!!:thumbsup::cool:

Jack Black Jack Black , 5K Qs 5K Qs , @Primble … and to any others I may have spun up, incensed, or offended in any way … I throw myself on the mercy of the Porch … I meant no offense nor intent to stir up a dilemma by quoting the misguided marketing musings of the manufacturer … thus, and by your leave, I shall give it another go …
This here’s a cool little knife …

You have a bunch of intriguing watches, Jim! That Black Cat is one of my favorites (and I still remember some of its interesting history from an old "research" post of yours)!:thumbsup::cool:

No joke for sure, but you made me laugh, Alan! 😁:thumbsup:

Micarta Monday, and a day off…be still my beating heart! 🤣👍View attachment 1954287
Splendid photo of your Northwoods pair, Todd!:cool::thumbsup:
Did you choose that pair with the arrowhead logos to celebrate Indigenous People's Day??
