What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you much!
Speaking of ‘shrooms, tonight’s supper will be pizza. Homemade crust with sliced baby portabellas, tomatoes, onion, peppers, and garlic from the garden, and some Canadian bacon, and mozarella, and parmesan, of course. “American Italian food”😜

Dang, now you're making me hungry. Of course I'd throw a big spoonfull of sour cream on top as well ... 😅 Bon apetite. Gotta love Italian food. I'm afraid American food is less authentic here although people try their best.

Another thing American I like is knives.

Carrying this big hunk today. The only beefier knife I own is a 23, although I do have an Old Timer 125OT but don't really consider that a pocket knife.

Very nice. One of these days I think I’m going to have to try a 75. I know my 92 and Buck 301’s are more practical for me, but there are times I like throwing the big Biuck 307 in the pocket. I’d like to see how the 75 compared.

Old Boker that I cleaned up a bit…I’m a bit strange and prefer patina to completely polished, or too lazy to finish the job maybe. The broken back spring on the small blade is beyond my ability to repair but since I generally use the large blade on a knife 90% of the time that’s not a drama.
It’s a really solid knife with great scales….maybe rosewood, I’m not sure as the other side that I haven’t shown has a bit lighter colour and some nice grain.

I'm not very good with the model numbers but it looks like the Buck 307 is the same length as the Case large stockman. I'm guessing they would be pretty similar, although I have no experience with the Buck. I do own a few Schrade large stockmans and the Case is definitely a bulkier carry than those. But you're right, sometimes it feels good to carry the big boy!

My check up went well yesterday so, today I'll be celebrating with a cheese, ortega chili, and sausage omelette at the Wagon Wheel Cafe after dropping off a package at the Post Office for one of you BF members. I haven't carried this Bull Nose for awhile so, it will accompany me on my travels today.

Glad the check up went well.

Many thanks JJ, I always enjoy seeing those two verdant beauties :) The emerald green Alox really pops, and the Kephart is very classy :)
Thank you very kindly, Jack!!! :)
My Random Tuesday pick today, and I don't think I could have got two more contrasting knives - Beauty & The Beast! 😁 My pre-ban double-bolstered Lamb, and a James Barber WW2-era British Army knife
