What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Haven’t had a chance to post since last Wednesday since we were busy decorating for our daughter’s wedding on Saturday. These are some of the knives I carried on various days at the venue as well as a picture of the arbor I helped decorate. We had a beautiful Fall day, a beautiful wedding, and a wonderful reception. Now we just have to get used to this empty nest.😢

The arbor with the natural fall beauty of the woods behind looks fantastic. Must have been a memorable weekend for all in attendance, congrats.

My carry for today. Case whittler and GEC 72 lockback.

A bit of zebra wood.
Although I'm not doing much waiting delievery of new lounges.
Made the mistake on the weekend, suggesting to the wife did she want to go looking for new entertainment unit she has wanted since we moved. Anyway she didn't find a unit she liked but we did find a couple of lounges. So many $$$$$ later.
That will teach me for opening my big mouth😩😄
We haven't had new 1s since the kids were little. I don't really mind I got a new recliner out of it👍👍

I sit back and chuckle as my neighbors cars are bombarded on a windy day.😊
Squirrels are great entertainment value.

For a while one year when I was a kid there was a pack of about 30 squirrels that ran the neighborhood driving everyone crazy running around on all the roofs either playing or fighting or something.
One day me and my friend decided to record them for a few days with a camcorder.
We were narrating like they were having a war or something and my friend was editing it all together on his computer, but we moved before he finished it and I never got to see how it turned out.

Great story. I can just imagine how you treated them as a bunch of crazies let loose from the " nut " house.( sorry )😁

Mushrooms near my son’s memorial yesterday. Thought they were Blade Forum worthy. We always stop there when down by my parent’s house. Make sure the little flag is still unmolested, pull a few weeds, etc, but mainly say a little prayer and think about life and the blessings we have.

Picked my parents up ( Dad will turn 89 next month, and there’s no way we’d allow him to make that drive anymore), and drove to a little rural Indiana town for my Aunt’s funeral. A life well lived and well celebrated. It was so nice seeing my cousins, their spouses and kids, and their grandkids.

Vik is driving for the last 50 mile leg from dropping my folks at their house, so I have a chance to lean the seat back and look at all y’alls knives👌

I don’t feel or consider myself old, but when I was a kid there was no such thing as a camcorder or computer…🫣
🤪

Got home in time to grab this beauty for the rest of the day. 😎👍View attachment 1968218

T'day. The Erickson just showed up, no overstatement to call it instant love!
Hoping to do some catching up on this thread after I get the young'un tucked in.
A couple of nice pairs there, FC. I like the idea of a folder/small fixed combo. 👍
