Always been a grail of mine. I have no idea what I'd do with a pruner blade myself but this whole knife just SCREAMS old school awesome to me.Lick Creek today
Beautiful knife —beautiful sheath!
ThanksIn awe. Wow……
Yes, this one has been fun. There are several complete faces, several animal faces, and many skulls. And then you can turn it around and find a whole new set of faces. I do see the Hippo face also.WOW Travis.
Your knife might be crowned Grand Champion critter infested knife of the year at "Primble's Knife handle figuring contest" next year ............... or the year after. I tried to count all the critters and kept getting a slight headache. Definitely a smiling Hippopotamus face on the mark side. (to the right of the EO notch)
Love the shield too !
Good guess Harry, but this one is Black Ash Burl.Beautiful knife Travis !!!!! Is that a Recover with Amboyna ???
Harry

Thank you for the kind words and offer Mr. P! Afraid my credit card already beat you to that loan though... I enjoy the Davison's minimalist looks/weight/profile, combined with maximum cutting power. If you do see faces or animals in this black G-10, we are going to start to worry a bit.Your Davison in a beaut ephsea !!!I got ten bucks I could loan ya !
......... for knife money, of course !
