What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

not actually totin’ this one, but it just arrived and I thought I’d share …
I generally carry a small Swiss Army knife along with whatever else, and recently started getting interested in some custom and unique SAK variants … and I tripped across this homage to the Lion of Lucerne.
I actually found an all silver one first, ordered it, and then found this one … so …

I see that's the lion of Lucern, honoring fallen Swiss guards from long ago.

Kabar and Craftsman on a downed log. Don’t touch that big hairy vine! That poison ivy was probably as old as the tree, and grew old with it. But when the tree falls, so does the vine.

Yes, very interesting story … the knife is an homage to the statue that was carved to honor the Swiss guard that died protecting the Tuileries Palace at the onset of the French revolution …

Yesterday into town I carried my Pattada as its light and I love it.






Today though cold the sun was out and the road dry (ish) so out on my bike and I carried my TL29.


It is a robust heavy duty knife,my one is in very good useable condition,the screwdriver blade is sharp to cut cable wire and rock solid.









The XT 500 is a true classic owned by the same owner for 40 years with 85,000 miles on the clock.
He also has a Moto Guizzi Le Mans I used to see him riding it on my way to work 20 years ago,I finnaly met him all these years later at a bike stop 2 weeks ago.
Its a small world sometimes.
