What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

While I do not have any Sheffield knives, I do have a couple other Sheffield blades and a new 3" wide hanging strop. 2-3/4" shaving edge on 3" of leather works better than 2-3/4" on 2-1/2".
Contacted Dave Horsewright and he made just what I wanted. It does an awesome job on edge touch-up

I miss our good friend Gevo as well Harry. Maybe he is just taking a break from knives and hopefully he will return.

These are my two most carried knives of 2022 so far, I think. Either one would do quite well as my only knife, if I somehow had to take it down to just one pocket knife.

Early morning checkup on the cool weather garden with my Oregon Trapper and old HIGH CARBON Premium Stockman.

My house is a cluster right now. While I slowly plug away at remodeling one bathroom, we’ve hired a contractor to re-do the other two. So one guy is mixing mortar and tiling our master bathroom.
Meanwhile, the new refrigerator and microwave we ordered a couple of months ago is finally here and being installed in the kitchen, so all our cold food is in coolers on the floor.
Meanwhile, the furnace crapped out. The flashing code told me it was above my pay grade, so a third contractor is here working on that.

Need a big bandage cuz I’m bleedin’ money.
