What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

While I do not have any Sheffield knives, I do have a couple other Sheffield blades and a new 3" wide hanging strop. 2-3/4" shaving edge on 3" of leather works better than 2-3/4" on 2-1/2".

Earlier this morning I was going through other threads where various people have posted some beautiful photos and I remembered one of my Very Favorites from some years past . This one was posted by @Gevonovich . He has been missed by me for a while now and I hope that he is Well . At my age , I can relate to this photo and I just feel like it needed to be posted again .

I miss our good friend Gevo as well Harry. Maybe he is just taking a break from knives and hopefully he will return. :thumbsup: 😊

My house is a cluster right now. While I slowly plug away at remodeling one bathroom, we’ve hired a contractor to re-do the other two. So one guy is mixing mortar and tiling our master bathroom.
Meanwhile, the new refrigerator and microwave we ordered a couple of months ago is finally here and being installed in the kitchen, so all our cold food is in coolers on the floor.
Meanwhile, the furnace crapped out. The flashing code told me it was above my pay grade, so a third contractor is here working on that.

Need a big bandage cuz I’m bleedin’ money.
