What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Looks like we have more than the love of knives in common  :D

I am carrying my new opinel that Sam gave me. I forgot how insanely sharp these get. It got me real good on my left middle finger. I am starting to feel like an irresponsible child cutting myself so often. I am putting myself in time out :D

We found out recently, that my Wife is pregnant with our first child. I bought this to celebrate. I plan to get the initials and DOB engraved on the bolsters and carry it every day until I eventually pass it on to my child.

I wanted something that reminded me of my father's old pocket knife. My wife bought me this for Valentine's Day. I'm going to love passing it on to my son.

Those covers look great!

Thanks, that's exactly what I said when I saw them. I've gotten several comments on how beautiful the knife is. Queen Cutlery did an amazing job with what they call "Curly Zebra African Hardwood."

Indeed they do Blaine. I have been wanting one of the Queen teardrops like that one. Maybe one of these days; the zebrawood version like that one sure looks great.

I will be carrying my Pemberton in ebony today. I find myself using it quite a bit for everyday chores around the house. Small, comfortable and sharp; an easy knife to like.

I pulled this guy off the shelf today. It's a 1970 Case slimline Trapper. It's got oodles of character. Sharpened up quite nicely, too. She whittles hair now:thumbup:

Had these two out with me on my travels today.

Just got home, and slipped this wee Zuava in my pocket.
