Gev, the bone on that knife is just outstanding! I really like the jigging and the color.

BTW: The watch is great, too!!

I don't know why, but I tend to forget about Wooden Wednesday, so after lunch I exchanged the appaloosa bone peanut for the ebony LF&C jack.

Thank you, Andi! This old knife makes me smile every time I handle it. The watch makes me think of someplace in Bavaria :D

Large Svord Peasant I got in the giveaway from combatjujitsu. Thanks again for that, man. Tried a jalapeno mustard patina and it turned out awesome! Reminds me of spalted maple, just a wee bit.

Here's my FB for the day. A "Dark Side" from Burt Foster. The steel is O-1 and 15N20. OAL is 6".
Those that may not be familiar with Burt's Makers Mark could construe this to be a little known BladeForums knife ......;)

Beautiful, simple fixed blade... Color me green with envy!

I wanted something that reminded me of my father's old pocket knife. My wife bought me this for Valentine's Day. I'm going to love passing it on to my son.

Great scales on that one! Beautiful knife!

Same goes for the Appaloosa Doug, don't you love the placement and size of the nail nicks on the older Case Peanuts

Thanks Paul, and yes I do. It is needed on this one, because it has considerably heavier springs than the current production peanut.
