Nice! Those 5OTs are cool knives. I’d wanted one for a long time — particularly with the green scales and carbon blade — but couldn’t find one in good shape at a fair price. Then I lucked out at the Janesville, WI knife show last spring and found a guy who had two for sale. One was a bit nicer than the other, and I was only going to buy it, but he gave me a good price on the pair, so of course I had to.

Well done!Graduating 3 year institute of discipleship at our church tonight. Figured this is the right one to carry. View attachment 1991641
Thank you. I’m very fortunate to get to spend so much time outside, although I do have to drive to my “backyard”.A fine jack and well done on the bead. I envy the landscape that is your " backyard".
Wow. That one is awesomeElijah J. woke me an hour early today ( he has still not adjusted to Daylight Savings time) so I am going to make the best of it by going to the market early. The cupboard is about bare and the kitty food is running out, which might create a real problem, if not addressed promptly.
For Friday, I am toting my beloved Schrade Cut. Co. ( c. 1917-1946 ) tear drop jack and I reckon it is all I need today. Have a fine weekend everyone !

Thanks, John. They’re always worth carryingNice... It has me wanting to carry my own Eureka today.![]()
Thanks, FC. You’re right, you can’t go wrong with a 92. The fixed blade is an ESEE CR2.5. I replaced the handles with some paper Micarta left over from a skate ramp. Cows are doing great, vaccinated and turned out on winter feed on cruise control until they start calving next month. Those are a couple of nice pairs you carried the last two days.Sweet carry and bead Bart! 92 pairs with anything, amiright? You kind of left us hanging on the unnamed fixed blade with mostly obscured mark though... You know I love little fixed blades so I'd love to know what it is? Hope the herd is behaving.
Thanks, Todd.Great knives and sweet bead Bart.![]()
Sounds like a fun evening with a nice old knifeBlowing off some stress with this old Case and a few Margaritas. Hope you all had a great day.View attachment 1992600
That is a very nice carry. The Case knives seem to get better with age.All the nice Cases on here the last couple days prompted me to carry my swayback today. (I forgot to get a picture of it outside.)

That is a handsome and dare I say perfect jack Mr. P! Hope it wards off whatever crud is victimizing you. About the hungry felines - I read somewhere that if an owner croaks and the animals have no access to food, the dogs will wait about a week to start in on you but the cats only wait a couple days. Never could figure if that said more about loyalty, intelligence, or just taste in meat?

Formal Friday, as I was volunteering at my boy's school to help with their Thankful dinner and felt like I shouldn't look a nutter (too close to true). Hope everyone on the Porch stays warm this weekend!
