Thanks, Bob. I think they always look better with a little patina. That is a very nice carry. The Case knives seem to get better with age.
Thanks, Todd. Can’t go wrong with Case chestnut. That one looks good anywhere Bart.![]()
Looking good, Todd. Sounds like you found a new favorite.I’m just going to roll with this one for another day. Have a great Saturday everyone.View attachment 1992965
Yep, an ettrick (and a bag of salt) brings ‘em running every timeWow, cattle seem really drawn to that ettrick, Bart!(Wonder if cattle rustlers used to use them back in the day.)

I think it was a nice idea my friendThank you Mr. Jack - much appreciated ! That 1912 Barber dime of mine got me to thinking about the history of that year, which brought us to here.![]()
LOL!Perry was born fifteen years before my father was born. My mom and dad loved Perry Como. I recall my father singing that "Catch a Falling Star" song often, when I was a little sprout !
He really did have a soothing voice. (Perry, not my father)
Classy Sunday combo, JackI always enjoy seeing those two super Schatts JJ![]()

LOL!Apparently, as a young man, my paternal grandfather was quite a talented (pub) crooner. He certainly didn't pass that onto his son, or his grandson for that matter!
Hope everyone is having a great weekendThe rain has stopped here, at last, but it's not particularly nice weather

Great picture!
Bring a little class to a meal. Nice.My knife of choice today became a “Survival” knife, it’s lucky just by chance it’s fairly long & slender unlike some of the shorter stouter stuff I’ve been carrying lately.
The situation began just a short time ago when I was served food without a knife
I was about to ask for one when I thought about what was in my pocket.

Emergency over.

And it worked better than a supplier knife would have done & just goes to show how even a humble “Traditional “ can be a Survival knife. I must just add though, I didn’t notice any Zombies lurking around as this all played out.....
