What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

John Primble India Steel Works Pillbuster (c.1890-1940) for Monday. Measures 3 & 7/8ths" closed. I took this out of the Primble Display Case last week for a while, just to give it some love. It is normally the center piece of that collection. It is a stout knife, but, won't get any hard use today. 😊

Outstanding piece! I really want GEC to finally introduce a doctor's/physician's knife pattern!

This one today!

The richness of that handle is incredable...gorgeous.

When the kids lived over there, they used to do a “Friendsgiving”, where they’d invite a bunch of friends and co-workers over, both Scots and Americans, for a big Thanksgiving style meal.
How about a turkey with haggis on the side?

I might say the pile side stag on your HHB is best, but since it’s impossible to see both at the same time, I can’t be sure.🤓
That's a nice idea Jeff, I have a couple of haggis in the freezer! :D And plenty of whisky in! ;) 🤣

Thank you very much :) Two recent pics below :D ;)

Cool composition Jon
Very interesting that those cutlers would make safety modifications to their work clothes; makes sense with all the belts and wheels I've seen in photos.:thumbsup::cool:
Yes, the drive-belts were everywhere! Cutlery hulls were dangerous places

Thanks Jack Black Jack Black and Rufus1949 Rufus1949 I like how the pattern emerged using a second line of the embossing stamp.

Also that photo reminded me of the one from the 1906 Titusville Ironworks photo, back in the day hats were standard wear as were vests and coats, just a different era than now a days!
