What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

It’s not a pattern for me. Glad to pass it on.
Ah, perfectly understandable. Thanks for the reply.

Today's carry while I prep the smoker for brisket on turkey day.

Nearly ideal pairing of knives, if your intention is to have a blade for almost any need. 🤙 Love the micarta.
I will be smoking as well, a turkey in my case. But we have several pounds of smoked brisket we brought home from Georgia to serve with it. It was done by an old black gentleman for the wedding we attended. And that man knows how it’s done. Since the bride and groom were leaving on a cruise, they insisted we take it.

Hope your meal is memorable!

Third day for the #81; so far so good.👍

We're about to ship out for another frantic, harrowing, unorganized, visit to the Vet for rabies shots for Utah the Doxie and Coco our Australian/German Shepherd mix. Hopefully, Coco will get her clean bill of health today. This'll be a straight shot from home to the Vet and back home so, lunch will be at home today. We did all the grocery shopping yesterday. This Otter Sheepfoot should be an appropriate carry to visit the Vet with. Sausage and eggs for breakfast.

Hope the visit to the vet went well

Edit: Mr.Rubber Ducky is GONE!
I’ll bet I inadverdently caught him up with the leaf blower, and picked him up with the grass catcher on my Cub Cadet. If so, he will eventually join the broken down leaves in the garden beds. Maybe somewhere down the road, we’ll meet again, Little Guy.😞
Maybe Mr.Peabody got your ducky to...

I really like Sturgill Simpson's cover of this btw.

I’ll bet she snores. We had a Boston Terrier with that same snout that would wake us up with his snoring.
Doug does snore about 25% of the time. I don’t let him sleep in my bedroom because I’m such a light sleeper. I don’t think he snores as much as some pugs because he is at his ideal weight. He snored a lot more a few years ago when he was about five pounds heavier. He is a happy and athletic Pug.

Many thanks JJ, that was my grandfather's 25 year watch. He was a wire-weaver, and the 6th employee ('Number 6 Hammer') at what became a very large firm here. I don't think many companies give out gold watches to their humble employees today I'm afraid
That's why the great manufacturers of the past made such great products:thumbsup::thumbsup: Sadly, it's become a bit rare these days... 😳
I found this classic ad from your grandfather's day, it's certainly got quite some wry wit! 😁

Fantastic to see those two treasures again my friend :) I love the shield on the older knife
Thank you kindly, Jack!!! :)
Bagpipe Ebony Lambsfoot SFO, and a Random Tuesday Carl Schlieper Scout :)
