Love that knife and liked your Boker oilers a lot too.😊

Very cool agricultural knives. Do I spot a trinacria on the fixed? I love it!

Very unique machining on those long pulls, similar to match strike, but, not. I love the main on that knife ............... I reckon I love the whole knife, come to think of it. 😍 😊

Thank you! The main blade is narrower than it originally was, since I had to sharpen the chipped up edge. I like it a lot better now.

So the ettrick had some help. 🤓 Back in the 50s and 60s on our dairy farm, we used to have a steel stake driven into the ground in the barnyard or pasture that would hold a block of salt (50 lbs?) with a hole through the center. My 2 younger brothers used to occasionally lick it, too, or chip off a little flake to lick, but I've never been much of a salt fan. (They also used to eat the dogs' Milk Bones, which I only tried once.)

I’ve seen enough rats in feedmills, barns, etc to know I don’t want to lick a salt block. 😁 We use loose mineral that comes in a bag and I pour it into a tub.
I’ll take that as a fine compliment coming from our presiding Eureka chief!
🤣 I might carry one frequently but there are others here with a far better collection of them.
