What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I carried my Eureka again today and found this in the morning. Apparently if there’s a hole in the fence, that’s an invitation to come in and dump your garbage.

Some people have no respect. At least it is piled up and not thrown everywhere. Maybe they left some evidence of the rightful owners.
Nice knife
It's a Thanksgiving tradition!

Very nice combo.

Thanks !
I'm still trying to make time to hammer out the details of a new weekly rotation schedule of what knives to carry. Looks like I might as well resign myself to starting it the first week of 2023. Until then, I'll continue to come up with some theme for the knives I carry each week. Finding weekly carry themes has been kind of interesting and challenging.

Now that Thanksgiving is past, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. So this week, I'm carrying red knives, since red is a classic Christmas color. I think it's all the red knives I have, not counting red celidor SAKs. I came up with a set of 12 knives, so I'll plan to post 2 per day.

Here's a big Böker stockman with red jigged bone covers that I won in a @Will Power GAW once upon a time. It's a knife that earns high marks for both form and function.

I'm also carrying a Klaas mini canoe with "red pick bone". It's a pleasant knife, and smaller than standard canoes, but bigger than most mini canoes I've seen (Rough Ryder mini canoes, Case baby butterbeans).

Love the little rattlers, makes me think I need to get mine out.
Thanks, Todd... You should definitely carry it more, they make an excellent second knife, and are perfect for using in front of admin. ;)
Very Pretty Stockman, GT. 🤠
Love the Candle End Lambsfoot. 🤠
That's despicable... it's only $20 to go to to dump. :(
I love the 18s, Jack. 🤠

Headed to the Ford Dealer over in Lakeview, Oregon to have our truck's cruise control fixed. The part finally came in. Dang, I guess what some are saying about the supply chain is true, especially, as pertains to automotive parts. Anyway, I'll be breaking in this Ebony Standard Lambfoot. It's about time it got exposed to the world. Breakfast sandwich from Subway on the fly is in order. The return trip might be a winter wonder land experience as snow flurries have already started flying here at the house.

A shiny new lamb very nice Ed. Hope your travels are a safe one.

A friend is waiting 6 months now for a sensor to have his car fixed after a deer destroyed his front end.

Or maybe just the Christmas knife- risk actually using it.
As long as you don’t use it as a screwdriver, or open paint cans with it…
All bone for Wooden Wednesday. 😲 😊

I sure would have liked to look in all of those knife displays ! 😊

They weren’t very good at making imitation wood, were they?
Speaking of displays, I was impressed with Kentucky during my trip through your beautiful state. A lot of gas stations have big floor displays chock full of Case knives.
Up here, even the big sporting good megalopoliuses, “Genuine Case Factory Authorized Dealers”, only carry a pathetic little assortment of them. I saw large trappers in bone and yellow delrin, and full sized stockmans in little crossroads gas stations in Kentucky, but the big Cabelas/BassPro up here told me Case only makes mini trappers and medium stockman knives.🙄
