What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Some people have no respect. At least it is piled up and not thrown everywhere. Maybe they left some evidence of the rightful owners.
Nice knife
Thanks. That is a bright side I hadn’t thought about.
🤬! At least your Eureka looks great.
Thanks, Todd.
It's a Thanksgiving tradition!

I hadn’t thought about that. It made for a great song!
That's despicable... it's only $20 to go to to dump.
It’s pretty lame. You’d be surprised how often it happens. 👎
That one is awesome. I love the look of bare end eurekas 👍
7’s up. Hope everyone is having a great day! 😎👍View attachment 2003027
Nice 77, Todd. You don’t show that one very often.

Deers will do that. Sadly, just yesterday over in Redding, California a guy on a motorcycle hit a deer and was killed. The deer was killed too.

Last Saturday I found out just how quickly a 2021 Subaru Ascent with Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires can slow from 60 mph to 0 mph, thanks to a deer crossing the road between Canon City and Colorado Springs CO, after seeing the Christmas lights at the Royal Gorge Bridge. Everybody was instantly thrown against their seatbelts and felt their butts lift off their seats, but the ABS and tires did an outstanding job.

It felt/looked like less than 110-115 feet! I swear it stopped faster than my WRX on all season or snow tires (just not as short as when I have my Pilot Sport 4s tires installed).

Carrying my David Mary necker/EDC aptly named the "Speedy Weasel v0.9" in there right front pocket (among others), and used it for cutting zip ties and rope on our outside Christmas decorations with ease. The only problem is trying to pull the blade out of the sheath on 20 degree weather in the snow is a real chore!

I might need to heat this Boltaron sheath up and loosen things up a little, but it's got a higher heat resistance than Kydex, so not sure I can do that.

Thanks Bart. It only recently found its way back to me and now it’s not going anywhere. 😄
Forum knife today.

Your forum knife is looking good Bart, and it’s nice to see that beautiful countryside undefiled by human waste. 😎👍
My carries today.
Good morning everyone. This coin and I were thrown into this world at the same time. It has survived better than me!🥴View attachment 2003767
But I bet your life has been a lot more interesting Bob. 😄👍
Nice carry today.

Great and classic pair Bob! Lamb/Barlow never gonna let you down.

My old man was born in ‘49. Strong as an ox (even though I feel like he’s got more metal in his joints from replacements than he has in his toolbox 😂). Y’all are a great generation of hardworking, straight shooting, men!

Jon that's a great compliment you send your dad and me. Thanks so much.

Edit: thanks for the opportunity to own the Barlow.

Yesterday evening's carry ( I don't drink beer in the mornings ).

Primble Primble your knives are a smokeshow, as always. Thank you for sharing them with us, I do so enjoy your posts! I too would love to hop in the time machine and raid those displays at Belknap, but I have the feeling that even if I did you I would find you already checking out with the best examples of the most sought-after models...

Sacto Sacto sorry to see how others are treating your property. I have to blame poor parenting for people to act with such disregard. I do always pick through trash dumped at our house (with gloves), sometimes you find a name and sometimes you find some good stuff in there. Once when in the midst of demolition work on the house I had a 40yd dumpster out back. Came out one morning to find someone had been helping me fill it up, so I promptly climbed in there and found one of my all-time favorite coffee mugs, a Star Trek Next Generation mug that de-cloaks a Klingon Warbird when hot :) Not as good as when my neighbor found 400 in cash in a grocery bag blown against her fence, though 😯 Nothing like diving your own dumpster!

JJ Cahill JJ Cahill I always love your pictures, and that S&M you posted yesterday is very handsome. May I ask what those burnt wood handles are called, and where exactly on them Rob's fishing hole is? ;)
