Took a few days off for a trip myself. Jumping in here, too many pages to catch up on. We went to Tampa for a few days to see the Bucs play the saints. Had a great time Sunday meeting and having a few beers with Jon @Jon0385 and Mark @mcc850. Money afternoon I did a little pregame warmup in Ybor City, and had a good time razzing the saints fans as they walked by. 😄
If memory serves, looks like you were in the vicinity of The Green Iguana, Todd. Great setting for a pre-game warmup! 😎👍🏻
Looks like a great time — beautiful family (and the knives ain’t too shabby either). 🙂

It's great to see you here Dylan, I was wondering how you were doing just yesterday

Thank you, Jack. I've been around, just doing a bit more reading and a bit less posting.

I was thinking today as I was getting ready to do some outside chorin', I (like many others here) am supremely fortunate in that I can be afforded such broad variety and choices in cutting tools. However, if I had to be stuck with just a couple, I'd be pretty content with some variation of the setup below - a person can get a lot done with these tools.

Looks like a great time! Those people look like they're having fun 😃👍👍👍
We sure did Mike. 😎👍
Nice lookin' family and knives !:thumbsup:😊
Fantastic finish ! 😲😲😲😊
I might start setting my DVR to record the last two or three minutes of these NFL games, instead of watching the whole game. 🤣 Go Bucs !
Thank you. Yeah, the last 5 minutes were unbelievable. 😎👍
Looks like a great time, Todd. Great looking pair of cocos you got today.
Thanks Jeremy. 😎👍
You sure picked a good game to see as a Bucs fan. You couldn't even make up a better ending!!! Congrats.
Thank you James, it was very exciting.

We were in the Ybor City neighborhood Jim, not familiar enough with that area to know if we were close to the Green Iguana or not but it sounds like a fun place. 😎👍

It was in the mid sixties here yesterday and today. I have an idea we are going to pay before long. Put on a warm coat and maybe a wool pocket slip for the lamb ................ and stay warm !
You should have it covered with your stout knife choices for Thursday. 😊 Buck 110 for ice chippin'. ;) 😊

Yep - it's a largemouth. Nice blade replacement work !😊
Zoomed in, didja?
Thanks, buddy.

Man I wanna like trappers. I just have absolutely no need nor any liking for spey blades.

But ...that's a gorgeous example and I sure think she's purty

I always figured that is a skinning blade when it’s on a Trapper. It’s really good for not nicking the hide.
And a short blade of that pattern on a Stockman is for working with livestock.

Anyhow, I have a real appreciation for that blade shape on a trapper. Nothing better at trimming out meat, for example. Just my two cents…

For whatever reason I never really took up hunting. Not that I am against it or anything. Just never took it up
